General

  • Allied hero icons now show up on the left side if an ally hero is within 1200 range of the player's hero
  • The minimum attack notification range has been increased to 2000 (up from 1250)
  • The selection tooltip now indicates if a hero has a secondary magic attack
  • Deathblow now has its old special effect
  • [Bugfix] Killing an allied hero should no longer grant gold
  • [Bugfix] Killing an enemy hero while under False Alliance should now grant crystal and experience

Perks

  • Insight: Reduced radius to disrupt the 1% mana regeneration to 900 (down from 1200)

Commands

  • Added -show command which toggles the display of allied hero icons

Battlefields

Candleburg

  • Explosives Laden Zeppelin
    • Should no longer explode on dead buildings
    • Behavior of oscillating between two buildings should be reduced

Kedge's Landing

  • Towers now take a minimum of 1 damage
  • The middle Sentry Tower has been moved north more
  • The period between a tower commander taking control of a tower has been increased to 3 seconds (up from 6)

Gloomreap Mire

  • [AI] Digmasters no longer gain the stat benefits from i mode AI
  • Invisible enemies will no longer disrupt hiring a Digmaster

Heroes

Elven Battalion

Aeromancess

  • Maelstrom: Number of initial tornadoes lowered to 6/0.5 (down from a constant 10)

Arcane Archer

  • Familiar
    • Now shares the hero attributes that the hero gains from having items. Gets 50% of the Strength and 100% of the Agility and Intelligence
      • Gains 50% of the bonus Intelligence as attack damage
    • Abilities have been changed:
      • Each ability levels up every two levels after the Familiar has gained them. (Ex: Faerie Fire is level 3 when having Level 6 Familiar)
      • Feedback is now at level 3 and replaces True Strike
      • Spell Resistance is learned at level 5 and reduces damage taken from spells to 70%
      • Starfall cooldown reduced to 60 seconds (down from 90)
    • New Talent, Spiritbound in which the Familiar replenishes a fraction of the mana lost by the hero, using its own mana. This is done at a rate of 2 points of the Familiar's mana for 1 point of the hero's mana. This also occurs only when the Familiar has at least 25% of its max mana.

Blazing Priest

  • Phoenix Touch
    • Kaboom!
      • Base damage has been reduced by roughly 50%
    • Phoenixes have been changed to Burning Skeleton Mages which are grounded units with lowered movespeed (down to 300 from 320) and a secondary siege attack
    • Burning Bones (the ability that damages melee attackers) now levels up with Phoenix Touch
  • [Talent] Fiery Rebirth has been removed

Infiltrator

  • Now gains a movespeed boost whenever she is invisible (before she would only have this movespeed boost while cloaked from Shadow Cloak or Stealth Strike)
    • New talent, Shadowstep, which increases this movespeed boost
  • Blitz
    • Movespeed boost has been adjusted so that it is approximately 30% with the previous change
    • Invisibility duration increased to 30 seconds (up from 20)
  • Explosives' mana cost scaling reduced to 10 (down from 15)
  • Smoke Cloud
    • Can now be dispelled
    • Duration of the cloud increased by 1 second
    • Cast range now increases by 50 per elvel
    • Cooldown decrease per level is now 2 seconds (up from 1.8)
    • Mana cost reduced by 10
    • Slow now scales by 5%
    • Slow duration changed to 3 seconds for both heroes and non-heroes (from 2 and 4 seconds respectively)
    • [Talent] Concussion Talent replaced with Under the Cover, giving allied units temporary invisibility
  • Elusive Flair
    • Evasion has been removed
    • Magic resistance has increased by 10%
    • Critical strike chance increased by 10%
    • Duration of the magic resistance and critical strike
    • Now indicated by a small special effect on the hero's weapon
      • Now scales with Int
      • Base duration increased by 1 second
  • Sabotage
    • Now has a texttag showing damage dealt to the building
    • Damage dealt to nearby enemies is now 30% of the damage dealt to buildings (up from 25%)

Mystic Swashbuckler

  • Fixed AoE enumeration for Dash and Mockery

Rune Knight

  • Fixed AoE enumeration for Grand Rune

Soul Binder

  • Soul Strike: The mini-stun now has a 50% chance of occurring

Tactician

  • Banner
    • [Bugfix] Infiltrator's combo was not setting the correct amount of damage

Time Cleric

  • Forks no longer have Phase and cannot carry items

United Creeps

Acid Reaver

  • Impale cooldown increased to 20 seconds (up from 15)

Arboreal Crusader

  • [Talent] Propitate now calculates the self-heal based on the distance to the target (rather than the actual amount healed)

Arcane Mistress

  • Raise: Skeletons now attack as part of the lane they're in unless they are under the control of the player
  • [Talent Bugfix] Afterlife was only boosting the chance to raise units by 2% instead of 4%

Crest Witch

  • Tidal Curse is now considered a debuff

Dread Shaman

  • Bouncing Attack
    • Damage lowered to 10 + 0.2 x Agi (down from 0.4 x Agi)
    • Extra bounce damage is no longer applied on allied units
    • [Bugfix] Will no longer bounce on invulnerable units
    • [Bugfix] Bounce damage was much lower than intended
  • Voodoo Doll
    • The AoE distributed damage from Ancestral Fury now increases by 5% per level
    • Cast range increased to 600 (up from 500)
    • A texttag now displays the target's name to the player and allies
  • Expunge
    • [Bugfix] Was not dealing the correct amount of damage with Ancestral Fury
  • Cleansing Totem
    • Fixed AoE enumeration

Elder Treant

  • Eat Tree's rip delay reduced to 0.4 seconds (down from 0.8)

    • Reduced cooldown for switching auras to 5 seconds (down from 7.5)
      • Rubber Tree: Now affects ranged attackers

Grim Hag

  • [Talent] Assassin's Talon damage bonus reduced to 10%/10% (down from 15%/15%)
  • Blade Rain's base duration reduced to 5/0 (down from 6/1)

Icespinner

  • Brain Freeze (Silence) is now considered a debuff
  • Fixed AoE enumeration for Frost Spire and Blizzard

Grim Brigade

Ascendant

  • Ravenous Dive: should no longer hold a unit longer than its listed stun (would have been caused if the held unit got stunned from another source, like Stonegaze)

Behemoth

  • [Bugfix] RIPTide duration was not 10 seconds

Defiler

  • Reverted Exhaustion to a cast on point spell (it had targeting issues when it was both unit and point)

Forlorn Martyr

  • Primary attack can now be used against fliers
  • Whirl
    • Mana cost scaling reduced to 2 (down from 12)
    • Can now be cast instantly
    • Agility bonus decreased to 4/1 (down from 6/3)
    • Cooldown reduced to 4 seconds (down from 8)
  • Thunderstrike
    • Cooldown reduced to 25 (down from 28)
  • Stormspire
    • Mana cost reduced by 10
    • Increased cast range to 300 (up from 250)

Nephilim

  • Vampiric Bite now heals for 50% of the damage dealt

Putrid Eidolon

  • Infestation
    • Rip delay reduced to 0.4 seconds (down from 0.8)
    • The older stump is now removed, instead of the one with the least life
    • [Talent] Venomous Bites crystal cost lowered by 5
  • Fungal Armor
    • Invulnerable duration is now removed from the sleep
    • Chance to sleep units changed to 10%/5% (from 5%/8%)
    • Heroes now have half the chance to fall asleep instead of a quarter of the chance
    • Duration of sleep increased
      • Scaling for heroes increased to 0.5 (up from 0.3)
      • Scaling for units increased to 1.5 (up from 1)
  • Spore Cloud
    • Removed invisibility
    • Sleep duration on units reduced to 4 seconds (down from 6)
    • Chance to sleep units is now doubled that of heroes
    • Units that are asleep can fall asleep again
    • Now affects fliers
    • Duration of cloud is now kept at 20 + 0.1 x Str instead of scaling up

Sorrow Liege

  • Royal Guard
    • Can now attack air
    • Movespeed increased to 330 (up from 290)
  • [Talent Bugfix] Gushing Wound was decreasing the healing reduction instead of increasing it

Fel Horde

Glacial Tyrant

  • Arctic Cataclysm
    • Now deals 50% damage to structures
    • Base damage adjusted to 60/20 (changed from 35/25)
    • Mana cost scaling reduced to 14 (down from 24)
    • Slow duration scaling on heroes reduced to 0.5 seconds (down from 1)
  • [Talent] Absorption's crystal cost reduced by 5

Scarlet Maiden

  • Maiden Strike has a new special effect to avoid conflicting with the Deathblow effect
  • Mesmerize
    • Removed invulnerable duration
  • Soulmate: There is now a delay for breaking Soulmate when used on an ally (to stop it from instantly breaking from just waygate teleportation)

Mercenaries

Blackguard

  • Both him and his Fiend's model scaling increased to 1 (up from 0.8)
  • Fiend
    • Now copies the target orders of the hero
    • Hero Armor upgrade reduced to 5 (down from 10)
    • [Talent] Skull Swarm cooldown reduced to 60 seconds (down from 90)
  • Doom Hammer's stun duration scaling reduced to 0.2 (down from 0.3)
  • Shadowclap
    • Movespeed reduction scaling decreased to 3% (down from 5%)
    • Attack rate reduction now scales up by 3%
    • Duration of agility bonus reduced by 10 seconds
    • [Bugfix] Duration of agility bonus was using Agility instead of the hero's Intelligence
  • Shadowstride
    • Base agility bonus reduced to 20/6 (down from 30/10)
  • Desecrated Corpse
    • Now considered a summoned unit
    • Chance to create a corpse is now 20%/4% instead of a constant 40%
    • A corpse will always be created if the hero kills an enemy hero in melee range
    • Range to create a corpse increased to 150 (up from 140)

Fire Knight

  • Fire Brandy
    • Now heals 30% of his missing life throughout the whole duration (previously it healed 30% of his missing life at the initial cast of the spell)
    • Mana cost increased to 50 (up from 25)
  • Phoenix Strike no longer collides with magic immune units
  • [Talent] Burning Blade
    • Duration increased to 12 seconds (up from 10)
    • Now has an AoE effect
    • Now deals 50% damage to structures
  • [Talent] Mindsear
    • Duration increased to a constant 20 seconds instead of 10/5
    • Intelligence reduction now scales by 2.5%
    • No longer has a cap of 15% reduction of intelligence
  • [Talent] Drunken Haze revamped as On The House, which increases the duration of Fire Brandy

Stormweaver

  • Snowblast
    • Increased damage against structures to 35% (up from 25%)
    • Chill duration reduced to 1 second
    • Chilled units now take 25% damage (down from 50%), but get chilled for 2 seconds
    • Distance
      • Base distance of snowblasts increased to 800/200 (up from 500/40)
      • Strength modifier increased to 1 (up from 0.5)
    • Lowered cooldown between strikes to 0.25 (down from 0.5)
  • [AI] Hopeful fix to lag from using Thunderstorm (this was introduced by a stupid change on my part)

Wretched Chef

  • Feast and Horrifying Stew are now considered summoned units
  • [Talent] Bloodrinker is now split into two levels at 20 crystal cost each: Level 1 heals 1%, while Level 2 heals 2% max mana. (changed from just one level of 2% at 40 crystal)
  • Nausea's movespeed reduction decreased by 5%

Units

Elven Battalion

  • Druid's Starblast should now longer affect heroes

Items

Equipment

  • Hatchet: Cooldown reduced to 3 seconds (down from 4)
  • Bravado: Now a passive effect, giving the wearer bonus Agility based on the number of enemies nearby
  • Guise of the Witchdoctor: Now caps to the hero's missing mana and takes away that much health accordingly
