So...I don't know about the rest of you, but I have often wondered just how many heros get picked by newbs (or any person for that matter) simply because of their appearance, i.e: they 'look' cool.
With that much said, I would really really really like to see some of these models implemented into heros at some point.
These are just some of my own wishes, feel free to suggest your own! They can always be added.

Issue with making a hero out of half of those models is that they don't have enough animations. You'd probably want a bash, cast, move, attack maybe another cast or special, an actual death anim. . .
Most of those are unit models, which don't have the Hero fade-and-rise thing.
"L4D2 promises to set a new benchmark for co-op games. . ." Like L4D promised to hand us new maps, survivors, and zombies? We've seen how that works.
I want to play one of the brave explorers from EotA Maze.

I think its more about the EVERYTHING OBLIBERATING NUKE it carries and less about liking the model.
