Politically correct.
Yak, can you explain in greater structure the political system of the High Elves, the United Creeps and, well if you'd like the Grim Brigade (though we've already sort of touched upon this). From what we can tell, the United Creeps are an autocracy with absolute power in Therivox's hands, but I'm not sure how this really works. Is Therivox a warlord who's united a number of smaller nations and tribes of indigenous people, is he a Muhammad that built on the prejudice of the simple folk and used them as a tool of destruction, or did he have a noble cause and he sort of went over his head?
I mean, it must take something to unite a bunch of people. Fear? Bane's a dragon as well (though I imagine him without WC3 models he and Therivox would be just dragons period). Did Therivox organize an army of dragons, did he push races, how the hell did he gather the United Creeps, how is kept orderly and without tons of rebellion? Or is there tons of rebellion. Elabourate here!
And the High Elves. Are they ruled by an Emporer, a King, a Council, or is it democratic, fascist, I mean we haven't heard much about them. Theocratic? Religious hierarchy? A caste system? What's the deal with the High Elves.
I just wanna hear a bit of elabouration, if you got the time. For those political geeks, just gives me something (and them) to indulge in for a bit of fun.

Therivox is the ruler, though not really through fear, although, they would be right to fear him, he just united all the different tribes to save themselves.
Elves, no idea, probably a theocracy, since in Exo there lead by there priestess, so :p
UD, Here I'm not Sure, but I think they all listen to Halo since hes the strongest.

We discussed this in chat, but i'm waiting for the map to save so i'll restate it here for everyone.
Undead: Halo's a king/tyrant/dictator type. Absolute power. I'm hesitant to say he rules through fear, as he certainly keeps certain factions in line that way, but the general population isn't in a state of perpetual fear.
Creeps: Therivox does rule entirely through fear. This alone wouldn't be enough to keep most around (he doesnt' have time to deal with as many followers as he has - the creeps are by far the largest of all forces around, just their extremely spread out). Most of his "empire" was born out of uniting those who have no hope of surviving on thier own, and the fear part just has to do with how he organizes his miltary operations, as well as the plan to keep them around after going through the portal.
Elves: Ruling council more or less. There are various elvish states that tend to squabble with each other, but they never have a full out war (the elvish population is relatively low so any internal strife would risk the entire nation from outside attacks). Anything that comes to violence will usualy be either assassinations, fights between house guards (usualy groups of about 20-40 and most of it isn't to the death), or organized mock battles of some sort (think sports). Each state usualy has a council seat, as well as other major factions (merchant guilds, religious orders). Its overly large and usually doesn't get much done - but they also aren't in a hurry due to their lifespans so they don't complain about it.

Somehow the Elven council reminds me of modern governments... to much compromising to get things done in one piece. Either 2 completely different factions rule in a "Great Coalition" (as in Germany) and to get a shared course, they can only make parts of what every single party would do, or one party rules the "Bundestag" (since the last Germany-wide elections), passing many laws, and other big party got the majority in the "Bundesrat" and blocks all those laws from the "Bundestag", but cannot make any own laws. That just led to new elections in September '05 ~~.
Dunno whether it is the same with the 2-chamber system in the US, sometimes. However, this isnt really on topic... still I just had to think of it.

That sounds extremly familiar. I think its a amalgimation, from a few different books I've read, you read books by mercedes Lackey by chance?Elves: Ruling council more or less. no not at all.
Now, I will do what I should have done in the 1st place.
a·mal·ga·ma·tion :
1. The act of amalgamating or the condition resulting from this act.
2. A consolidation or merger, as of several corporations.
3. The production of a metal alloy of mercury.

Now you just need to re-cap on the Creeps/Elven/Undead stories you wrote before, so we can all have references.
Hell if you want I'll edit them and post them 0_o make 'em look pretty if you write a fugly rough draft.
Fugly "meaning you just talk liek this" without care of spelling errors. =D
But story plzkthx.

I'd rather play Russian Rullet with a full chamber(Alone) then read Lackey's crap.Ion wrote:She's probably still not as bad as Ayn Rand. I'd rather play Russian Roulette then read her bullshit.
I read some book about a 'witch' that was a dude and was a knight or some shit in one of her books, a retarded pigme could've written better shit.

Ayn Rand had sex with her students. While she was married. She convinced her husband it was cool.
She did that well over six or seven times. Her theory sucked as well, and all she did was promote it in her books. I am almost ashamed to be named after one of her characters.
Luckily for me my name doesn't just refer to a character in her book, it refers to a mythological figure of some popularity. So I just pretend I'm named after him.

Try and read one honestly.
Her writing is made up into quadrents. Quadrent A is how crappy and broken the systems of America is because it administers welfare and cares about the poorer people of society. Quadrent B consists of some political-icon who's being persecuted for believing what is "right", by a bunch of socialist/communist/conservatives. Quadrent C is almost entirely sexual, because she's a romance geek. Finally, Quadrent D consists of the main-hero triumphing over all other foolish prinicples and people, establishing her idea (objectivism) into the country, and how wonderful the country is now that the hero in question is in power.
For those who care, objectivism is a political idealogy (disregarded completely by universities for being ludacrous and far-fetched) where an autocratic leader (or set of leaders) have all the money, all the power and all the control of the people. They administer money through funds to people who do "good jobs" and "good things", make all the decisions for the country, run their daily lives and distribute everything from food, to money, to guns and tanks: because if you gather all the smartest, brightest and most influencial people in all of America, you get a super-country where they all win, and everyone else loses.
Fuck Ayn Rand.

It was the second. I should apologize. I have a bad habit of mixing things up, sometimes saying things sarcastic and other times being sincere all the while sounding sarcastic. It all stems from the fact that I didn't cope with middle school to greatly, I think. You can't imagine how mad I've made some girls before
Have you guys read the warcraft books like Day of the Dragon and The Last Guardian?
