Oh, I made a wrong loop exit condition breaking the UnitID system.
Serves me right for not really testing my code.
Anyway, now it seems to fully work with 1.24!

Just a quick note, someone was digging around in the code of the SC2 beta and they found some stuff that looks like it would be used to handle choosing a server.

Now some people say it could just be leftovers from an older build and that Blizz won't have cross-Realm support but some say they decided to put it in. Probably not until release at the earliest though, or in some patch after that.

For Blizzard to actually meet a deadline is almost world ending. Truly, it's not surprising a there's a string attached. It's a problem that almost everyone is having, the patch just keeps looping. Apparently, if you have the editor (found in the SCII install dir), you can open through that, sadly I don't have the editor, so I'm stuck.

yea I'm fairly sure because of the problems with the patch among other things that what we got is not the finished editor. And it has so many options in it that the important things get drowned in them. I tried making uberlisk but for whatever reason the model won't even show up on my map.

Ok, I'm...starting..to understand it. Certainly not to uberlisk level yet. But vaguely starting to understand how psi storm works. It seems...overly complex, to say the least. Or, at a minimum, the interface is extremely poor.

well finally figured out how to totally make a new unit and attach the model, sure took awhile. You have to create a separate actor, model, effects, weapons etc for each unit you do
