General

  • Spells should now more accurately reflect their AoE.
  • Item of Upgrade Instructions is no longer given
  • The default camera zoom is now 2000.
  • Critters are now just part of the scenery.
  • [Bugfix] Certain mercenary heroes had their armor increase by 8 instead of the standard 10 from Hero Armor (Blackguard and his Fiend, Fire Knight, and Stormweaver)
  • [Bugfix] Units that were temporarily transformed into other units would cease to spawn
  • Stuns should now work on invisible units
  • Take Charge
    • No longer has a distance requirement that breaks Take Charge if the hero gets too far away from the units
    • Cooldown reduced to 30 seconds (down from 60)
    • Mana cost removed

Perks

  • Almighty now grants an extra +1 to all stats every 5 levels
  • Bounty Hunter additional effect: If the hero is near a dying enemy hero (900 range) and isn't the killer, the player will gain 100 gold.
  • Focus additional effect: If the hero is not near any visible enemy attacker (1200 range), the hero will regenerate 1% of its max mana per second
  • Insight experience bonus increased to 17.5% (up from 15%)

AI

  • Hopeful fix to some of the AI failing to cast point spells

Commands

  • -s states the charges for Orb of Falling Ash

Battlefields

Stormwail Peak

  • Rockin' Arthas now gains 60 hit points per level of the hero who bought him (up from 30)

Heroes

Elven Battalion

Aeromancess

  • Tempest
    • Now ignores magic immune units (which would interfere with Buffet's first unit hit)
  • Soar cooldown reduced to 4 seconds (down from 5)
  • Maelstrom
    • mana cost increased by 15
    • Heroes get pushed at 50% of the speed of tornadoes

Arcane Archer

  • Gained a secondary magic attack
  • Owl Scouts should no longer run away (would get scared off by getting "damaged" although it wouldn't hurt them)
  • Familiar
    • Recasting while Familiar is alive will now heal part of the Familiar's max health and compensate half of the mana cost
    • Now has a secondary magic attack
  • Ice Wall
    • cooldown reduced by 60 seconds
    • Removed cooldown reduction from level scaling (from prior version)
    • Now slows down enemies who are near the ice walls when they are created

Blazing Priest

  • Skeletons
    • Kaboom!
      • Now has damage based on the hero's intelligence
      • Now deals 50% reduced damage to structures
  • Firestorm's cooldown reduced to 120 seconds (down from 180/-20)

Divine Wizard

  • Empower
    • Duration now increases by 1 second for each level
    • AoE now increases by 100 for each level
    • Evocation boost
      • Base reduced by 3%
    • Scaling reduced to 2% (down from 6%)
    • Mana cost increased
      • Base increased by 15
      • Scaling increased to 12 (up from 6)

Rune Knight

  • Siphon Glyph
    • AoE reduced to 325 (down from 400)
    • Destroying the glyph weakens the damage by 50%
    • Cooldown increased to 15 seconds (up from 12)
  • Hazard Slash
    • Cooldown decreased to 30 seconds (down from 35)

Soul Binder

  • [Bugfix] Decoy should now activate when the spell takes effect instead of waiting for the spell to finish

Tactician

  • Blast Arrow's mana cost now increases by 10 per level

Time Cleric

  • Degeneration
    • Now deals damage to nearby units
    • Can be used on non-hero enemies
    • A texttag now displays the accumulated damage to the player
    • The area in which the target can move in before breaking the spell has increased to 1200 (up from 900). Note that the actual range for Degeneration to not work is still 850.
    • [New Talent] Deadline Extension which extends the max duration
  • Rapid Healing
    • Instant base heal has been reduced by 50%
    • Mana cost reduced by 30
    • Attack speed boost increased to 30% (up from 20%)
  • [AI] Forks now take 0.6% of their max life per second (up from 0.5%)

United Creeps

Acid Reaver

  • Acid Sheath cooldown reduced by 15 seconds
  • Pool of Acid talent
    • Reduced crystal cost by 6
    • Crystal cost scaling reduced to 10 (down from 11)
    • [Bugfix] Acid Pool was not using the right level of Acid Sheath for its duration
    • [Bugfix] Also was not levelling the ability correctly due to the Warcraft 3 bug with Permanent Immolation
  • Charge
    • Stun duration scaling reduced to 0.1 (down from 0.25)
    • [Talent] Trample crystal cost increased by 3
  • Storm of Malice
    • Base damage reduced by 8
    • Now deals damage to magic immune units

Arboreal Crusader

  • [Talent] Ultravision crystal cost reduced by 2
  • Geomancy
    • Bog Gas
      • Sleep duration scaling increased
        • On heroes increased to 1 second (up from 0.5)
        • On units increased to 2 seconds (up from 1)
    • Sunburn
      • Armor decrease scaling increased to 3 (up from 2)

Arcane Mistress

  • Necrotic Shot's healing reduction now scales as 25%/5% (instead of constant 50%)

Crest Witch

  • Rogue Wave's number of units spawned decreased to 8 (down from 12)
  • Coral Sanctum should be less laggy

Dread Shaman

  • Bouncing attack is now triggered and deals damage based on his Agility
  • [Talent] Relentless crystal cost reduced by 10
  • Ancestral Fury
    • Duration reduced to 15 seconds (down from 20)
    • Cooldown reduced to 60 seconds (down from 120)
    • Mana cost reduced to 80 (down from 120)
    • Movespeed boost increased to 10% (up from 5%)
    • [Text] Moved the Ancestral Fury combo effects to the learn tooltip of each spells.

Elder Treant

  • Timbercurse manually removes the buffs that it conflicts with (Glyph of Fortification, Heart of Mountain, Kindle Faith, Dire Howl)

Grim Hag

  • Swoop
    • Collision increased to 100 (up from 30)
    • Issuing point/target orders should no longer artificially shorten Swoop's duration if it doesn't get spammed
  • Featherfall
    • now stuns fliers
    • Delay before strike occurs reduced to 1.5 seconds (down from 2)
    • Cooldown now decreases by 3 seconds per level (up from 2)
  • Blade Rain
    • Blade Rain now deals damage to units within the area in addition to the bleeding
    • [Bugfix] Bleed duration was 9 seconds instead of 5
    • Duration of rain
      • Base duration now increases by 1 for each level
    • [Talent]Blood Tears crystal cost reduced by 7
  • [Bugfix] Chaos Rift was not correctly enumerating units within the area

  • Ice Lance:
    • Damage is now spread over an increased duration of 20 seconds (up from 15 seconds)
    • Attack rate slow has been decreased
      • Base reduction decreased by 5%
      • Scaling reduced to 5% (down from 8%)
    • [Talent] Icy Blast toss now occurs at cast instead of afterwards
  • Glaciate
    • Number of illusions decreased to 3 (down from 4)
    • Illusions damage dealt changed to 10%/13% (from 0%/15%)
    • Damage taken multiiplier remains constant at 200% (instead of decreasing by 20%)
    • Animation delay reduced to 0.25 (down from 0.5)
  • [AI Bugfix] Would give webs with 0 charges if the AI was surrounded by multiple allied heroes

Master of the Hunt

  • Dire Howl
    • mana cost reduced
      • base decreased by 10
      • scaling changed to 6 (down from 10)

  • Purge Malice
    • Damage taken multiplier for illusions reverted (increased by 50%)
    • No longer affects fliers (the Pacify ability cannot pacify fliers)
    • Mana cost increased by 15
    • Mana cost scaling increased to 12 (up from 6)
    • Cooldown increased to 18 seconds (up from 15)

Incarnation

  • Rend Soul
    • Now a deathblow against heroes
    • AoE from Mark of Reaper now increases by 15 per level
    • Cooldown now decreases by 2.4 per level (down from 3)
  • Gravebind
    • Duration reduced to 1.75/0.25 (down from 2/0.5)
    • Skeletons created from Mark of Reaper are now magic-immune
  • New talent, Condemn, which increases the chance for Mark of Reaper when the target has more missing life

Nephilim

  • Lots of changes no one cares about.

Putrid Eidolon

  • Spore Cloud invisibility fade duration increased to 4 seconds (up from 3)

Sorrow Liege

  • [Bugfix] The special effect from the combo of Thunderstrike and Mortal Strike should now properly be removed when used.
  • [Bugfix] Royal Guard: Should no longer consider Royal Guard illusions from Purge Malice to be a Royal Guard
  • Forlorn Crown
    • Aura of Focus evocation bonus reduced by 10%

    • Stun duration reduced to 2/0.3 (down from 3/0.5)

Mercenaries

Fire Knight

  • Cast point reduced to 0.4 (down from 0.5)
  • Flashfire - When Fire Knight is hit by an ally Stormweaver's Twister, Flashfire deals damage to enemies on his next use

Stormweaver

  • Thunderstorm
    • Flashes are removed
    • Stun reduced to 0.5 seconds (down from 1)


Items

Equipment

  • Orb of Falling Ash's damage reduction against buildings is now 35% (instead of 20%)
  • Runebreaker
    • Effect no longer works on magic immune units (Cause of Arcane Wagon speedup bug)
    • Armor decrease duration increased to 5 seconds (up from 4)
  • Blooming Wreath now has a radius of flowers showing its range
