Includes all changes since 1.14b1

General

  • Attempting to pick or ban a hero in draft mode during the other team's turn will now give an error message
  • Walking over/near certain items will automatically pick them up
  • [Bugfix] If using draft against only computer players, it will properly skip its the first ban if it is selected to go first
  • [Bugfix] Various memory leaks of varying degree
  • [Bugfix] The gold bounty reduction for repeated hero kills was permanent unless certain AI heroes were active
  • [AI Bugfix] AIs usualy thought teleportation was always on cooldown
  • [AI Bugfix] AIs weren't correctly detecting other heroes for spellcasting

Commands

  • New command '-notips' (shortcut: '-nt') which disables display of tips

Battlefields

Kedge's Landing

  • Changed the structures around the shrine to make pathing in the area easier
    • Note: This messes up shadows in that area, which will be fixed in a future version
  • [Bugfix] The Moontear spawn warning will no longer occur after the game has ended

Gloomreap Mire

  • Moved the Fountains of Health slightly away from the ridges near them so it should not be possible to heal from the top of them
  • Summoned units no longer prevent starting a dig

Stormwail Peak

  • Some minor terrain beautification for some particularly ugly spots

Heroes

Elven Battalion

Aeromancess

  • Mana Storm's graphic changed, should be far more transparent
  • [Bugfix] Tempest's graphic should always appear now

Arcane Archer

  • Ethereal Healing
    • Cooldown greatly increased, now decreases with level
    • Mana cost greatly increased, now decreases with level
    • Healing values are a flat (9 x Int)

Mystic Swashbuckler

  • [Bugfix] Cluster Bombs no longer hurt allies

Rune Knight

  • Sigil of Stunning replaced with Catapulting Sigil
  • Imbued Equipment hotkey changed to E from C
  • [Bugfix] Talent Mana Residue was reducing magic damage taken to near 0

Time Cleric

  • Hotkeys & Icon placement rearranged
  • Expire replaced with Echoing Strike
  • Rapid Healing
    • Initial healing amount reduced
    • Heal over time amount increased
    • Mana cost increased
    • Cooldown increased to 15 seconds from 14
  • [Bugfix] When switching between Fork clones, mana was being set to their health value
  • [AI Bugfix] Now uses Fork
  • [AI Bugfix] Wasn't properly leveling Fork or Ebb and Flow

United Creeps

Arboreal Crusader

  • Agility gain per level increased to 2 from 1.65
  • Intelligence gain per level increased to 2.2 from 1.85
  • Cure Wounds
    • Cooldown greatly increased, now decreases with level
    • Mana cost greatly increased, now decreases with level
    • Range greatly increased
    • Healing values are a flat (9 x Int)
    • Healing done is now reduced based on distance to target
    • Talent Propitiate increased in cost
    • Now instantly heals when used on herself
  • Gale
    • Damage loss per unit hit removed
    • Talent Sustaining Winds removed

Dread Shaman

  • Ancestral Fury is now the active part of his inniate, while retaining the bouncing attacks
  • New ultimate: Twist of Fate

Scarab

  • Lifewave
    • Targeted units no longer receive an instant/guarunteed heal
    • [Bugfix] Had no per unit limit for healing except on the primary target

Grim Brigade

Ascendant

  • Ravenous Dive
    • No longer does damage while pushing
    • Restores a set amount of health per second while a unit is held
    • Held units take 6% damage per second
    • Held heroes will take a set amount of damage over the duration held
    • Units held will be dropped if the hero teleports to another location
    • Duration for holding units greatly increased
    • Held units now block 75% of damage taken
  • Terra Smash
    • Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds from 10
    • Mana cost scaling reduced
    • Damage increased, but damage distribution more centered
  • Stonegaze: Now instantly petrifies (stuns) units in a cone area. Petrified units instantly shatter and die when attacked by a hero, and petrified heroes take 15% of their current health as damage
    • New talent: Stoneskin
  • Shimmer replaced with Sentinel

Behemoth

  • Maw of Death
    • Target radius increased by 20%
    • Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds from 14
  • Miasma
    • To reduce lag, when spawning Bloodflies, there is a 50% chance it will instead increase the damage of all other bloodflies by 10%
    • [Bugfix] Bloodflies will no longer sometimes try to move to locations outside the miasma
  • Anchor
    • Increased chance for it to pull heroes back
  • R.I.P.tide
    • New talent: Stability

Defiler

  • Devouring Plague replaces Trap Corpse as the inniate
    • Duration reduced to 6 seconds, but duration is refreshed whenever the target takes damage
    • Also heals the caster of 30% of any damage taken by the target
    • Now classified as an Injury instead of a Debuff
  • Pestilence
    • Decreased bounce delay to 0.25 seconds from 0.5
    • New Talent: Corpse Trap - Creates a Corpse Trap when Pestilence kills a unit
  • New Spell: Vile Infusion
  • Frailty replaced with Flesh Eating Cloud

Emberwraith

  • Molten Cage
    • Duration reduced to 3 seconds from 4
    • Torture talent bonus damage reduced
  • Cauterize replaced with Erupt
  • Smolder replaced with Cinderfury
  • Flare replaced with Slag Spray
  • Pyroclasm
    • No longer channeled
    • Damage reduced
    • Graphical effect changed slightly

Forlorn Martyr

  • Static Charge
    • Now only discharges against hero attacks
    • Attacking now adds to the static charge
  • Streak is now the new ultimate
  • Stormspire and Polarize have been merged together
    • Stormspire looses its aura abilities
    • Stormspire now polarizes surrounding all enemy units when placed and whenever it reaches maximum mana
    • Polarize will not strike other units with polarize
  • New skill: Whirl
  • Ion Surge cast range reduced to 150 from 400
  • Thunderstrike
    • Time between lightning strikes when cast on structures reduced to 2 seconds from 4
    • Number of additional strikes reduced

High Oracle

  • Clairvoyance now has a 20 second cooldown
  • Zen Archery
    • Damage bonus is now a passive and dependant upon your current mana percentage
    • Now has active Zen Shot
    • Talent Zen Force reduced to 5% of Intelligence from 15%
  • Ki Blitz
    • Now heals heroes for 150% of the amount it does a normal unit
    • Orb speed increased
    • New talent: Ki Storm
  • Befuddle has been changed to Mindstab
  • Geyser is now channeled

Incarnation

  • Rend Soul base damage reduced
  • Gravebind's Entombed Skeletons remade
  • Avatar replaced with Bonestorm
    • (Yes, BONE STOOOOOOOOORM!!!!!)

Putrid Eidolon

  • Fungal Armor
    • Healing rate increased, particularly for lower levels
    • Shield strength reduced at lower levels but higher at higher levels
    • Mana scaling lowered
  • Wilting
    • Mana cost reduced
    • Base damage increased
  • Rotting Grove build time reduced to 4 seconds from 8
  • Spore Cloud mana cost reduced
  • Entangling Seed's delay before sprouting reduced

Sorrow Liege

  • Mortal Strike
    • Cooldown decreased to 8 seconds from 11
    • New talents: Gushing Wound, Devastating Strike
  • Royal Guard
    • Now has familiar-like AI
    • Health now scales with strength, base health reduced
    • Damage increased
    • Armor and weapon types changed to hero class
    • Now benefits from hero weapon and armor upgrades
    • Cooldown increased to 30 seconds from 15
  • Shadow Bastion
    • Malignant Chapel talent removed
  • Forlorn Crown
    • Auras of Decrepitude, Focus, and Warding have had their ranges reduced, increasing with level, but power increased

Items

  • Angelstone changed to 700 health restored over 30 seconds from 1000 over 20 seconds
  • [Bugfix] Items giving evocation damage were actualy increasing magic damage taken instead
  • [Bugfix] Items giving magic resistance were being applied twice
  • [Bugfix] Some items would have some of their effects linger after dropping the item
  • [Bugfix] AI heroes with Glacial Wall would sometimes be able to arbitrarily freeze enemy heroes
  • [Bugfix] Trying to move a stackable item onto itself would dlete the item
