Version 1.12b Changes

General

  • Hero Selection taverns have been split up into multiple pages, allowing more than 10 heroes per faction
  • Added option to play games with faction restrictions removed. Enable this by selecting 'Random Races' under the advanced options before hosting the game.
  • In addition, the Fel Orcs are availible to play, but only using random races
  • 2 new heroes, the Putrid Eidolon for the Undead, and the Glacial Tyrant as the first hero of the Fel Horde (only availible when using random races)
  • More ability comboes added
  • [Bugfix] Spawn towers in non-front bases were only suppose to be able to support 2 living waves instead of 3, however this was only functional for red team and not blue. This entire system has been disabled.
  • Completley re-wrote the spawning code, hopefully to get rid of potential memory leaks (which I've never conclusively found to exist in the spawn code). This has the more immediate effect of causing outposts to now spawn in a specific sequence, no more random spawning
  • '-spawnrate' is now a percentage of normal spawn rate, from 30 to 300
  • Added starting command '-teamsize <#>', which sets the desired total heroes for a size. Suggested that you use this instead of '-allheroes' when race restrictions are removed. Also easier for balancing teams than using '-extrahero'
  • [Bugfix] Heroes owned by Blue were not properly purchasing hero upgrades

Battlefields

Stormwail Peak

  • Moved the units guarding the south west obelisk to prevent tower placement that can trap heroes
  • Moved a doodad at the north west obelisk to prevent tower placement that can trap heroes
  • Moved the front red base on rock lane further north, along with related terrain changes in the area

Arcane Archer

  • [Bugfix] Meteor Swarm will no longer damage allies

Blazing Priest

  • [Textfix] Firestorm and Flame of the Devout now display under -s

Divine Wizard

  • [Bugfix] Implacability was increasing healing by 50% per talent point instead of 5%
  • [Bugfix] Blessing now works
  • Vengeance mana cost increaesd

Infiltrator

  • Cloak of Shadows
    • Chance to turn invisible cut in half
    • Crystal cost reduced

Rune Knight

  • Rune Shell's absorb damage animation now only has a chance to play if the damage is less then 5% of the hero's health


United Creeps

Acid Reaver

  • [Bugfix] Encouragement works again
  • Caustic Breath damage reduced

Colossus

  • Heart of the Mountain's tooltip now includes its health regeneration
  • Heart of the Mountain health regeneration increased

Dread Shaman

  • Elemental Binding
    • Crystal cost reduced
    • Elemental Strength significantly increased
    • Elementals now last only 45 seconds

Grim Hag

  • Reduced the effectiveness of the Impact talent
  • Damage formula for swoop's bonus damage from range changed

Scarab

  • [Bugfix] Life Wave's radius was using the wrong field, and thus much larger then intended
  • [Bugfix] Life Wave could heal the target unit twice

Grim Brigade

Ascendant

  • Ravenous Dive
    • [Textfix] Properly shows the percentage healed in the tooltip
    • [Bugfix] Wasn't restoring health
    • Increased duration for carrying units

Defiler

  • Starting strength increased to 15 from 13
  • Strength per level increased to 1.55 from 1.45
  • Pestilence now does partial damage to all nearby enemies on each hop

Emberwraith

  • Strength per level increased to 2.55 from 2.2
  • Increased Smolder's health regeneration
  • Brain Boil crystal cost reduced to 18 from 30 and percentage of mana drained per second per level increased to 0.15% from 0.1%
  • [Bugfix] Brain Boil was draining mana based on current mana instead of maximum

Forlorn Martyr

  • Strength per level increased to 1.9 from 1.8

Incarnation

  • [Bugfix] Was missing 100 base mana and 1.2 mana regen standard for all heroes
  • Rend Soul range incresed to 600 from 400

Sorrow Liege

  • Panic crystal cost reduced

Units

Neutral

  • [Bugfix] Cargo Planes are properly free to repair
  • Clockwerk Warriors health reduced to 570 from 720
  • Generators
    • Cost reduced to 150 gold from 500
    • Repair cost reduced to 50 gold from 150
    • Repair time incresed to 120 seconds from 60
    • Build time increased to 180 seconds from 60
    • Hit Points increased to 1800 from 1400

Grim Brigade

  • [Bugfix] Lost Soul's peircing attack wasn't being used against air units
  • Ghouls attack speed reduced to 1.09 from 1.1
  • Ghouls health increased to 660 from 645

Items

  • Cluster Rockets
    • Cooldown increased to 60 seconds from 45
    • Damage to buildings increased to 150% from 50%
    • Area of Effect decreased to 200 from 300
    • Stun duration increased to 2.5 seconds from 1
    • Cost reduced to 200 from 300
