Eve of the Apocalypse: Twilight

My favorite map is Stormwail Peak. Stormwail Peak was the first map for EotA right?(The first version I played was 1.09 something and it had only Stormwail Peak).

Which map do you guys like the most?

Kedges before 1.12 when it got this crazy lags...
Just 2 lanes,heros need good teamwork to get one side pushed,fair map imo.

Stormwail with snow.

I like Gloomreap Mire is my personal favorite. Stormwail is awesome for longer more epic games, but Gloomreap is nice for a bit of a shorter game. Kedge's Landing is pretty cool. Lots of hero fighting and it doesn't take forever to get anywhere without a scroll of teleportation. Candelburg is lame, I don't care for it at all.

peak, because there are so many details that prove you that there is lot of work in this one (like all those eastereggs and the great terrain)

but yak managed to make gloom very nice as well

stormwail is ftw.

and it looks like everyone else thinks candleburg sucks just like I do.

I like Candleburg with -spawnrate 5 and possibly a few -extrahero or -fullskills, it makes for a nice change (although if the game drags on too much it just gets boring).

Apart from that, Stormwail. I feel Kedge is superbly imbalanced and Gloom is good but I don't get how you obtain cores.

Gloom you get cores from the miners beating on the green crystals.

And the candle one I wouldn't mind, but I'm curious how long everyone I bring in would last...

I like kedge's landing because when I play I usually pull a 2:2 or 3:3 and 2 lanes seems to be about right.

even if i 4:4 with 1 bot on each landing seems right

Gloomreap Mire. I especially like the Goblin shop, or wherever you buy the Hydra Mail, that item is ass-kicking amazing.

Also, the green pools of 'mire', crystal shards, and eerie sensation while fighting are very cool. The only thing that bugs me is the path layout: strange and somewhat random, unlike Stormwail were its all straight forward and strategically executed.

Sadly, it's not limited to just new players, but people who've played it plenty of times are included as well. I think a cinematic of key points for the picked map at the start should be done.

Looks like I'm the only one that likes Candleburg

Candle...I enjoy it with 5 heros each team, spawnrate 5, and occassionally all heros...but that's just because it becomes a comedy then...But, I like peak, and candles. Never could pick favorites on anything. I rarely lean in one direction, picking a nice center path and seeing both sides of the road...
