Oops. Wrong guy. Still, you get the picture.

Eh, have some faith. Give Valve the benefit of the doubt (For the 100th time, I know. Still, a fair amount of the time, they've come through with their side of the deal.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, they never said anything about having it release the day the final update was posted.
- The Demoman wears an eyepatch. We do not know how exactly how he came to be the self-proclaimed "black Scottish cyclops" that he is, but one does not have to speculate very far that his line of work has damaged him. He is filled with sad, harsh memories that, unlike every other class in the game, has left him scarred for life.
- The Demoman wears a smiley face insignia over his groin. While many have been left to assume this is done simply done to add more insult to his taunting fallen enemies, it could be speculated that it also privately compensates for something. Maybe the Demoman's battle scars actually reach his full body, and have left him physically sterile. Perhaps he has metaphorically lost his manhood; his identity.
- The Demoman's bottle of booze is almost as recognizable as his ethnicity. This intimate attachment to alcohol is often brought on by the desire to bury dark memories; to "drink the demons away" so to speak. Wisecrack personalities such as the Demo's are also often exploited by victims of immense depression to hide that they are, in fact, dead inside.

When you sum all of this evidence, it is quite apparent that the Demoman is, literally, the Broken Man.
Pretty eye-opening.

The patch rocks. And they did release it on time. (Wow. Valve Time was WRONG?!)

Force-A-Nature: Always worth it, IMO. No reason to take the Scattergun over the FaN. Also, every reload takes 2 shells, whether you have any left in the gun or not.

Bonk! Energy Drink: Very situational. It has changed the Engineer's play style a bit. When it works, though, it sure works.

Sandman: I don't like it, as I like to double jump, but for those Scouts carrying the FaN, you just expend ammo to double jump. The stun ability is annoying as all hell, so I guess it serves its purpose: harassment.

I use all the new items, I'm kinda leaning to not using the Energy Drink though, it's useless and when you do use it another scout can just follow you around until it wears off.

They need to buff it before it's useful.

Eh, I was gonna not use it too, then I discovered that you can use it as an uber to distract a Scout so something else can kill the sentry. THAT's pretty useful, particularly with teamwork.

Yeah, Dekar, but all the engineer has to do is use a wee bit of teamwork / use his head. For instance, depending on where he places it, he can probably block the Scout's movement -- After all, it doesn't give the Scout the ability to move through things. Most Scouts would hit him and--Oh, there goes the Bonk. Angry Sentries are angry.

Airblast still works on BONK!ing scouts, too, so a Pyro can easily shove him back to wear out the duration. Heck, the Engineer and a Pyro can just box a Scout in, until the scout shoots / BONK! wears off.

Just requires a change in playstyle.

The latest patch added a HEAD SLOT as well as 50 slot INVENTORY for ITEMS.
Also a way to throw away your old stuff.
Looks like they are preparing to finally adding random weapons ( and armor/general specialisation ).

I'm personally looking forward to it and until then I will have my fun with bad WoW/TF2 hybrid jokes.

There should be a server mod that doesn't let you use all the extra weapons.(Maybe it exists already?)

But I do agree, I wish I could go back to those nostalgic days.

Every update makes the game run slower

I miss running it with graphics settings maxed instead of minimum

No. When tf2 came out I ran it at basically max settings; now I run it on nothing to barely get 25fps
