Eve of the Apocalypse: Twilight

Just curious what everyone feels the most fun and most boring heroes are. This has nothing to do with relative power, most fun could be the weakest and most boring being unstoppable.

The only times I found myself bored is when I try to do hero killing dedicated builds, or ya, late game when it is chuck a pebble and everything falls.

I'll not post my own opinion seeing as it changes very often....mentioned how I go through cycles of like dislike then liking again somewhere on here....There all fun, at some point, just depends on how aggressive/passive a player you are.

Soul, you should switch names with random seeing as how you fit his discription fairly well.

My faves:

Elves:
Blazing priest - the only true summoner in the game. Has a unique gameplay option.
Infiltrator - pwning heroes is always fun, and Mad Bombing is great too!
Aeromancer - 2 levels of her mana boost really help keep her in the lane. All her skills are interesting and useful.

Creep:
Colossus - believe it or not... early game last hitting is viable, and tossing pebbles to slaughter everything is fun!
Dread Shaman - I love his versatility and 2 snares. He is one of the few viable DPSers due to the triple bounce, and lack of other offensive skills.
Ice Spinner - There is something rewarding about having an enemy hero run off and you see a +400Gold in the darkness somewhere...

Undead:
Neph - INT-based skill cycling is pretty cool. Nice to have so many tools to use and master.
Oracle - I like to use the Zen Archery option, toggling it in/out mid/lategame, even though straight heal/befuddle is more effective, but MUCH less fun!

Lol, isn't it cool though? bam! 400gold pops up. I love waiting to watching them die, its so cool, evil, and fun!

For me, it's map dependant.

All heroes are fun for me, you just have to know how to make them fun to play.

Teamspeak with people doesn't hurt either, makes you not so shitty when you are getting killed.

With the crystal for stats building it makes your hero become anything you want and it never gets bring making strength heroes become pure intelligence or agility. Though don't try and make Arboreal strength....

Uh, not really, do you know how much crystal youd need to catch a STr hero with Hag? a huge amount. Your much better off putting your extra crystal into your primary stats or spell stats.

The least fun heroes for me to play are the TC, Lich, and Firelord (forget what you called him). I just feel the TC is lacking in a real dastardly skill that makes her a fun support character to play. I mean, the DS used to be like that until you added in the awesomeness of Totems. That's just my personal feeling.

The Lich, while being cool just doesn't have that ring to me that makes him fun to play. As with the Firelord, I just don't have a blast playing either.

I like the rest more then enough to make up for it though ^_^

For me Harpy is by far the most fun hero, the ways you can build her are all fun. Straight strength, agility, or intelligence.

Shammy: Oh look at this I get totems that explode, awesome. Not to mention that his attacks hit more than one person and he can stop heroes in their tracks.

Oracle: Geyser, healing, and zen archery. TOTALLY BORING SRY GUISE

Crusader: Gale, the entangling roots thing, and healing. I know what you might be thinking "HEALING?! THATS BORING!" well it might be boring if your an asshole who doesn't care about his teammates, but the healing for me is a fun part of playing Jadenhart, just pissing off the other team with my 2000 hp regeneration spells.

I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying your an idiot.

Aero: Spells are a bit too simple.
BP: More than 1 unit to control, no immediate effects -> I dont like him very much
Inf: AoO and Explosives require good timing and some skill -> Very fun to play
Swashy: High crits and free items
RK: Very good in defense and offense, GR! -> Like
SB: "This fight is for those who say OHHHHH NOOO NOT [WARLOCK!!!] SOULBINDER!!! They are very hard fighters because they use the power of main fire and the Satan!" I loved him when I started to play EotA and my love is still unbroken.

IS: Master of Destruction! Who cant love him? And he has free nets, too!
Fenny: Very agile including free teleport, nice hero killer.
Scarab: IS there something more fun than tanking 2 waves + mercs?

Garg: With 2 triple buffed firespawns incoming, your enemy better not leaves his base unguarded. Also dive is a very nice skill.Like her ultimate ...
Emberwraith: Too passive for me.
Martyr: Nice hero, but the last game some months ago left the impression that he was nerfed a bit too much.
Neph: I only use Hotkeys when im going to lose, to turn the tide. So I dont like that no cd system.


Other Heroes are OK.

Woh dude, why you being so harse? I don't hate you, is because I don't enjoy the same heroes you do? comon man we are all human here, and we don't all share the same likes, didn't say those heroes sucked or anthing, just not terribly fun to play, thats all.

It began with the statement that dawn made about me liking to play every hero. Some heroes are not boring, they just require more skill to become enjoyable.

The funnest heroes to play would be.

Elves: Swashbuckler, Arcane Archer, and Aero.

Creeps: Harpy, Gravel, Shaman, and Fugly(sometimes).

Undead: Oracle, Martyr, and Rue.

Didn't have any intentions with that post, seems like it started with Doc calling me an idiot.
