The game no longer requires a CD to play, guess I can finally take that off the virtual devices on Daemon Tools.

well there is the "normal" customer who was actually stupid enough (well he hadnt much choice) to put in the CD every time he started warcraft ... (everyone else used an image or a loader ^^)
Now that normal customer wont ruin his CD anymore. An image doesnt get scratches so i dont care, bla good patch anyway ^^

I like it because it makes it easier for people who have multiple games that uses CDs. Although, I virtual drive everything so it's no big deal.
Speaking of which, unrelated question - Can you LAN with multiple copies of the same WC3 game using the same CD Key?
I know some games don't let you LAN with same CD keys but I also know some games you can LAN with the same CD key, can WC3 be used on multiple computers over LAN with same CD key?

As far as I know you can lan with the same cd key ... or just grad some keygen out in the net. Beware of fakes though.

you just need a valid key for bnet
and multiple key usage is possible in lan, just like in sc
