I use 3ds Max. That might be a little bit out of your price range, though. Beyond that, I think Blender is sort of the Free Software standard for animation.

Edit: By the way, http://allegro.cc/ is probably more suited to what you're looking for. And you're doing this in Flash, right? What are you using for the 3D? I was wondering if it was worth learning one of the third-party things, since Flash 10 is supposed to have 3D support built-in.
