Over the past day or so I have encountered quite a few Internal Server Errors. Am I the only one experiencing these?

Good to hear I'm not alone. Sucks though that this is happening.

This is a result of FastCGI (I switched to it along with eAccelerator). I've generally just ignored the occasional error, since things are several times faster with fcgi, but since I have people complaining on this site and another site I run, I'll see what I can do about it. On the other site (Howdypedia) I tried adjusting the number of fcgi processes and renaming them to avoid DreamHost killing them, but it doesn't seem to have done much and I mostly stopped playing around with it. I'll try some of that here, and maybe contact DreamHost support to see if they have any suggestions.

In the meantime, just refresh the page when an error strikes, and enjoy the nice load times.

P.S. Is there a particular time when the errors strike more often?

I'm getting these too, but seems mostly solvable by a simple hitting of the back button, only a minor inconvenience, really.

This is just unacceptable. And here we thought he was doing a good job what with hosting the site, the forum, upgrading the forums, and generally doing his job. Shame on emu.
