So, seeing as PowerDVD is good at two things: Crashing immediately after starting up, and asking me if I want to start off where it crashed last time... and then crashing again -- I decided to find a patch for it so I could actually watch DVDs with it instead of using it to fuel my bitter rage that will inexorably lead me to mercilessly slaughter 458 babies whilst wearing nothing but a smile.

Oh, how CyberLink hath shot me down.
