I've just taken Tox's advice from day 1 to just tell demongod to shut the fuck up every time he says something really stupid.

I'm seeing some stupidity, but I'm also seeing a lot of unwarranted cruelty. If you don't like someone and want him banned from the forum or whatever, then complain to Yak. Calling people names and obscenities doesn't boost your moral authority.

I'm starting to delete posts which contain just profanity and no content. I'm less then happy with some extents of harshness displayed but as long as they're meaningful in some way I'll let them stay.

And if its throwing a thread off topic where the original topic isn't already exhausted i'll be deleting those threads as well.

There are plenty of places on the internet to have intelligent conversations. This is the only place on the internet that affords you the great opportunity to merge with the quantum singularity known as Clan EotA. It's kind of part of the hardcore gamer persona to be aggressive.

That said, it's a bit unnerving, ain't it? But if we made the forum for intelligent people only, it would kind of alienate the very people who use it.
