Apparently EotA is about to hit its next technical hurdle.

BNet no longer allows me to host the raw version for testing, due to the insane time it takes to even get to the game hosting screen (where players join). While this one isn't unsolvable (deleting some extra crap let me host it, but this is a temporary fix at best, failing that I cna run it through an optimizer for test versions), it is another sign of how much of a mess EotA has become, and how far past the intended design of wc3 it is.

And just to clarify, this is all due to the completely and uttelry shitty string tables, more or less unavoidable for any map this size. 2325 custom objects, 1100 of which are abilities, yeesh.

Ouch, when did this happen? last night?

Well, at least its not un-solvable.

And I see you mentioned how far beyond what a war3 custom map is supposed to be, Eota has become ~~ :D

It's all Blizzard's fault.
