Honestly?A new map made in the old lotr style from starcraft,Because the ones on wc3 blow nuts imo.
Unbalanced,Unoriginal,And unfun in general is what they were.Lotr maps on wc3 atleast one of them should have been made in the traditional sense where every unit had a damage block variant where it blocked up to certian damage but not below,None of this % to block stuff thats no fun for lotr.
If starcraft 2 comes out and it does not take months to learn how to make a map for it like wc3,I will make a lotr map again like the good ol sc days when I was actually known for working on them
Elitest people who say that "lotr is better on wc3 because it looks more realistic" Are both naive and unrealistic because they fail to see with their imaginations rather then just their eyes(and for you mappers out there on wc3 that like to say they think with their imaginations for maps rather then practical do not tell me wc3 lotr is better then sc).
Just because something looks right does not mean it is right.

What about a return of Diplomacy maps?

Eh would not be so bad if diplo maps made a come back either,But it would have to be done properly again.
I do not think alot of people want to think about true and proper balancing again like it had to be done back then,
To make it fair even when people had larger countries/etc.
