As most of you know, I actually fail pretty hard at my own game. I'm also far from the only one. So this thread exists for anyone to critique my own playing, or anyone else who wants feedback, in hopes of learning something.

Re: L2P
This is more general advice:
- Coordinate with your teammates. Use Ping minimap, chat, whatever as long as you can have good teamwork. This is also vital when you pick your hero.
- Pay attention to your hero's health. Know when to retreat, especially when you're up against a hero killer.
- Don't forget to look at lanes/bases to see which ones need help.
- Consider your enemies' heroes and plan accordingly. For instance, buy Dust/Wand of Shadowsight against Infli, dispels against heroes with annoying debuffs, etc.
- Pay attention to the amount of gold you have and spend it wisely.

Health bars are off by default so I recommend turning them on by going to Menu->Options->Gameplay->Always show health bars.
I think teamwork will have the largest contribution to winning in most cases. Deciding who will control unit upgrades and spawning towers can prevent discrepencies. Also, knowing which group of heroes to choose and how to coordinate them will have a large impact on the outcome of the game.
