Eve of the Apocalypse: Twilight

This is something I should have asked a long time ago, but only now occurred to me. Do people like the option to surrender? Hate it? Both from a victors and losers standpoint.

Hate it from both sides. If I'm losing, I feel it's better to go down fighting. If I'm winning, I want the satisfaction of that final victory, destroying the base.

Should be used only when the teams are imbalanced.

I think this problem requires a social (fairer teams) rather than a technical (-surrender) solution.

Hm, I'm not sure. The fact that it is an option is bothersome when some players clamor for it and the others don't want to. Then the game turns into a bitchfest. However, I think I have to vote yes and say that I like it because the game takes so long to play out. Some games you can just see the end coming and you don't want to spend 20+ minutes playing it out. I prefer a surrender option to having players just drop out whenever they smell a loss.
