Don't think there's a thread on this, any other eota Terraria fans?
I oddly dislike minecraft but enjoy this stupid little game.

Re: Terraria
I like it more than Minecraft too.
Once I created a infinite water machine and flooded the world of a friend.
Will probably create a new char in the future, as you could get hellstuff pretty easily in the first version, and they added new stuff. And I just looked into the newsfeed and saw they will release a giant patch soon, so that may be a good time.

Re: Terraria
Minecraft has no real point. Exploring would be cool...if you ever found anything interesting. And what limited gear upgrades there are are mostly pointless since its easy to loose everything anyway. I've seen minecraft videos of friends playing together and it looks like it can be hilarious, but only with the right group of people.

Re: Terraria
Minecraft is a lot of fun especially with the right mods installed and playing together with friends. The updates to single player actually give you an objective to work towards in survival mode - finding the portal to The End and defeating the Enderdragon there (creative names I know...). Haven't got Terraria yet but as much as I see Pheonick and Sparda playing I might pick it up at some point.

Re: Terraria
Been playing this quite a bit the last few weeks. It is kind of addicting. Apparently there is a lot of new stuff in the harder difficulty now. New resources and gear and all that fun stuff.
It's not rape if you yell surprise!

Re: Terraria
Kerehe, was hosting a server for a while. I've only been playing when a friend is going to play it new. Terraria has a better game progression than minecraft, but seems completely pointless in end game.
