Status
This tends to creep into the other topic so I'll just have an established one here.
Currently: Still learning the workings of the SC2 editor. A lot of experimenting, trying to see what the hell everything does, trying to figure out why something is or isn't happening, and other glitches. Currently still trying to peice together the first hero (once one is done, almost everything else development wise will rapidly speed up)

Currently: Banging my head against the desk because that feels better then the giant headache of trying to understand wtf they were thinking when they designed this thing.
I seriously don't understand how some people figured out how to make this stuff work. I've spent hours trying to figure it out on my own then I finally give up and find it buried in some random tutorial for making something. I NEVER would have figured out where they hid this goddamned field.
Oh, what was I trying to do? Make a hydralisk shoot a needle. From its mouth. Real fucking complicated. Trying to get it to do something it does by default and being completley inept at it makes me feel like a fucking moron. I keep going back and forth between "I must be really fucking dumb to not understand this" and "the very fact that I don't understand this means this is a poorly designed peice of shit." I really dont know which it is at the moment.
And this is also what I was refering to in another post and development time. Coming to understand that took hours. Ever doing it again (which will be frequently) will only take seconds.

Fuck yea I haven't played kart rider in like 2 years. Wonder if any new similar games are out (that don't suck).

Sort of. School's over, but now my bar review course starts in a week and then the bar late july. I HOPE I will have time to do things over the summer, but i dont know how much time i'm going to actualy be spending on studying for the bar.

Bars are tricky, always seemingly spend a lot more than planned. Studying is probably a smart move, may consider doing it myself.

Well for what it's worth, Yak, I don't think you are a dumbass at all to not be able to do certain things in their editor. The mere fact you were able to make that 'embarrassing clusterfuck' of code that is EotA work is testament to this, let alone make it work so well it becomes 100% perfect, my favorite map on WC3.
