Server move (again)

So I upgraded the server to Ubuntu 9.10. Unfortunately, it seems the host's scripts didn't like that: the machine wouldn't boot back up. I contacted my host for help, and they reinstalled Ubuntu 9.04, erasing everything that was there.
Fortunately, I'd started making offsite backups a few weeks ago; I have a backup from two days ago, but it seems to be corrupt, so I've restored everything from a backup from a week and a half ago. We're now on a linode, by the way: the old host offered very generous resource allotments, but their service had some problems, especially when it came to reliability (duh). I apologize for not moving everything before this happened, and I'll do my best to ensure nothing like it happens again.
