soul binder and mana

icespinners sacrifice does give mana to the soul binder
seeping taint talent doesn't
mana storm can't burn the mana at rank 1, don't know rank 2 and higher (doubt 2, think 3 + will work). will deal the damage, but not remove the mana
i believe it has to do with amount (small amount, thinks its regen)
haven't tried ion surge's talent to burn mana, or defilers plague
