Artifact Pricing

Perhaps all artifacts should cost the same amount?

Whenever I go for them I usually just pick the one that would be the most advantageous to my hero in reference to stats, and the active ability usually just comes as a bonus.

So I was thinking maybe you could re-balance the artifacts to not give any single hero an advantage in a game time to item receive sense.

I agree that the artifacts need some tweaking.

Personally, I'd like to see two shops, one available to each faction. This would discourage from whoring, hopefully to some extent. :|

While your idea does seem fair and balanced. You have to remember Coke not all items are equal in merit. It is exactly as you said, some artifacts are suited for certain heros. This doesn't necessarily mean certain ones are better, obviously. Just different.

One item that I think is overpriced (yet very useful) is the Dragon's Heart. I'd like to see the Dragon summon duration increased considerably. As it stands, the drake is basically useless unless chasing after weak heros, and even then. Too, it is bloody expensive, too expensive for the stats imo.

Oh, and I've heard mention Yak wanted to add more artifacts, not sure when, but cool imo. Even a few extra items to fill in some voids in gear choice wouldn't hurt. My 2 cents.

If there were two shops, I'd rather see them each have completely different artifacts.
