-fortress / -f command

#1 Post by Dekar »

Because its really hard to keep track of a dozen flying fortresses which dont appear on the minimap and that arrive 10 minutes after you ordered them at their target location, I demand the -fortress command to be implemented what pings all forts on the map.

I like what the monkey said, I second this notion as well.

why ping all halls and outposts? they show up on the minimap just fine. i could understand if they didn't get pinged using the -t command so you knew to repair them, but otherwise i dont see the point.

the fortress command described by dekar would be useful, but it would only be useful to rue and potentially rue's team. maybe instead add a button to rue's altar or any of the fortresses to ping all forts? Another potential solution is to add either a timer or a limit on the number of fortresses rue can have.

Well, this way you don't have to search for which outposts can heal you, you can ping and head to the nearest *blank* color ping to heal.

It makes it easy. obelisks are pretty obvious on the minimap as well, but I still -o all the time.

allow me to to rephrase what i said for emphasis. if -t (-tower) pings damaged outposts, why have another command for just damaged outposts? also, -o makes alot of sense as it shows you information not necessarily available on the minimap, such as the status of obelisks hidden in the fog of war.

also, I think you are a little confused as to the original topic of what -fortress -f would do. it would ping all of rue's fortresses from his ultimate.
