Are the Worgans suppose to be some sort of Were-Wolf or something? Don't remember reading about them and any relation to the Alliance. Just curious.

Worgens are kinda werewolves FROM OUTER SPACE which came to Azeroth through DIMENSIONAL RIFTS. In addition a nightelf got a SCYTHE from Elune which can summon WORGEN at will to defend an important place.
Arugal made some experiments at shadowfang keep with worgens and transformed an alliance town into WEREWOLFTOWN, where people turn into worgen during night.

Yeah the demos weren't so comprehensive for D3 but I had several reasonable play sessions with SC2.

That said, Yak you better start coming up with dope ideas for an SC2 map. They are giving you awesome things to work with.

the lore officially died with the SPACESHIPS that the dranei came on.

But the worgen lore sounds kinda nice, no?
