I received a PM today:
This is Kem Rixen (obviously), or JetPack as I used to go by. As you know, WarCraft 3 Mod Forge is gone for good, so, ShadowWolf and myself have taken it upon ourselves to start the site to replace it. It won't be WarCraft 3 Mod Forge, it won't have Hollowman, and it won't go down. I know this is a little late, but I didn't know where to find you, if you're still interested in being hosted, we'd love to have you. Though, you seem to be settled in here, sorry for taking so long to get to you, we've been busy setting up and such.
Thoughts?
And this is no offense to sparda, I greatly appriciate the time you took to set this up, and (so far) its been running well, but its still not a dedicated webhost.

If the place looks half decent, is disco-free and has good moderatos, it's fine by me.

Not a problem with me yak, this was just an experiment for me, and it gave me something to do
Besides I fully intended this to be a temporary solution till a more perminent and speedier solution was found.
On the same note, my ISP finnaly caught up with me, and they are going to inact limits soon, so the timing on this is prolly a good thing

Well, when Sparda gets a normal internet connection, it might really be the best... can we save this forum's data and use it there? Will make starting up again easier (and I wont miss my posts again ^^)

shouldnt be to big of a deal to backup the database, all i would have to do is create the backup and they would apply it to the new forum. In theory, if the forums use somewhat similar databases, it shouldnt be to rough of a transition.
If you wana play with it let me know and i will send you a copy of the backed up database for ya guys to play with over there and see how it goes. Just send me an email at

I send them a backup of the database, they are gona play around with it and see how well the migration is, apparently there is a tool that allows migration from phpbb to mybb so with any luck, all the posts and stuff will survive.

lol, well they havent done anything yet, but they will sooner or later, im not worried about it though. They arnt puting actual limits on it, they are just going to do it the way they shoud have in the first place, right now im getting full speed on the connection, not the 1.5 im paying for apparently, so sooner or later they gona make it where you actually get what your paying for, lol. I figured i would just send them something to play with in the event that ya do say yes to this, it will give the process a jump start.
