Gun control and firearm rights!

Gun: any portable firearm, as a rifle, shotgun, or revolver.
The purpose of a gun is to disable or eliminate a selected target. A tool that can be used to defend oneself or another, but also a tool that can be used improperly for selfish reasons. Many say we need them to defend ourselves, others say they're the reason we need to defend ourselves. Maybe we don't need them, other countries don't, or so it seems. Perhaps the issue is not defending from "thy neighbor" but to defend against the mighty government, or is that just wacky conspiracy theorist belief? People have the right to know who may be a risk to them (publicize information), but they also have a right to privacy, which right takes precedence? Are most gun owners ignorant rednecks, or is that just a blanket statement that makes those who claim such no less ignorant, but then again who says anti-gun right people always say that?
For hunting purposes, it's our right to obtain our own food, but do we really need to? Using up natural resources; we have limits for that sort of thing, though some do debate against limits. What about the animal's right to not be shot, or are they really just a sub-being? Do we really need a gun to hunt when we got bows, or are bows just a "lesser evil" of guns?
What's your take?

No no no no no
Last thing this forum needs is discussion about the economy, gay rights, and gun control.
This thread is now about skittles.

Wild Berry Skittles are meh. I just take enough of them that they taste like a small amount of regular skittles.
Green skittles suck, that I can agree with, but not the yellow ones.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit.....
And red skittles are the best, the blue ones are just stupid.

Tic tacs in a skittles thread

I'm for reasonable gun control, but to an extent. I believe firearms which are not built for reduced sound emission or full automation are fair game for citizens.
Aaaaaanyway, sour skittles are delicious, but they cut up the roof of your mouth if you eat too many in 1 sitting.

Tic Tacs are clearly relevant since some people here feel the need to debate them. They are great, cheap and smarter then a former president.

I wonder why people doubt that Tic Tac are a product of skittles evolution. Its so obvious!

Which is why we are now up to 1.2 trillion in national debt? Up from 300 billion under
that former president?
Seriously, are you even able to do simple math?
Hope your able to figure those numbers out....even without a mouse. Doubtful though...
Maybe you can get a free mouse from our current wonderful president? He seems to like to give free handouts, just a thought.

Okay, one: If you're going to talk the talk, walk the walk or shut the hell up. I've said it before, I'll say it again: Let's see some kind of basis for this shit. Apply that 'simple math' ('Cause, after all, if he can do it, SURELY the almighty DarkNemesis, to whom all knowledge is given by God, can do it) and see how much of it ACTUALLY is his fault.
You're acting like this is LOLDEMOCRATSRDUMBSPENDERS. Guess what, buddy, your Religious, Righteous Conservatives are
just as much to blame as us Godless heathen.
Which brings me to my second point: The national debt's rate of increase can be measured in $/second. O NOEZ OBAMA DID IT ALL!!!!!!
Uh, no. Actually, that kinda argues the opposite. I'm not gonna sit here and say that I think, for instance, that the stimulus bill was correct -- That shit was free market at work, stupid idea to introduce that stimulus bill. However. That having been said, I don't think he made that much of a dent in the national debt either way: If it wasn't taken up in the stimulus, it'd be taken up by legislative pork-barrelling, something ALL PARTIES ENGAGE IN. So. Not just his fault.

Current projections are Obama just short of doubling the national debt over his 8 years. At the start of Obama's term, it was around $10.5t, its since risen to $11.6t. I believe Bush's total came to around $3t (maybe a bit less, i'm not entirely sure).
This isn't to say both parties aren't robbing us and destroying the country, just the dems when they have complete power do it a shitload faster.
DarnYak
PS. And now I anticipate a post by dark that will undermine any credibility my arguement has.
Edit - Found numbers pushing Bush's totals to $4t. Not quite sure how that happened, as he sure as hell didnt' have $500b debts every year, but doesn't give details

Bush left office with an around 300 billion in debt. Obama spent some 900 billion in stimulus (oh, and your God president is wanting to spend even more btw).
Since I can assume from your posting you are unable to do simple math, I shall do it for you:
300 + 900 = 1200
Aka: 1.2 trillion.
Simple enough?
And stop with the anti-religious, anti-conservative bullshit. It's not needed and you only look like a huge fucking troll.

Well if you meant I was going to agree with you, your right. I noticed your post right as I tried posting mine.
But yes, your right, Yak, the republicans messed up too, and Bush spend too much, not arguing that.
his isn't to say both parties aren't robbing us and destroying the country, just the dems when they have complete power do it a shitload faster.
Agreed.
