The second buff overwrites the first, but it retains its graphic.

Same applies to Kindling Faith (Blazing Priest) and Heart of the Mountain (Colossus). Bringing up the issue Yak said he'd do nothing about it, though I suggested "combo move" type things like nightmare + dire howl, backfire + siphon glyph as a compensation for the conflicting buff types.

I can't do anything about it, because blizz removed the ability for buffs based on the same spell to stack.

Explain how that works. You mean in combination?

Tornado slow aura can to stack on itself (meaning unlimited buffs based upon the same ability) and doesn't show up as an ability when added to a unit. Item abilities can be used to stack the buff effects. However, this is probably a lot more work than it's worth.

Just had a game with with me as Dread Shaman against Fenris. He was somehow disabling my mass regen. It was either lunge or hamstring I think lunge. Made killing him a bitch.

Yes the graphic was still there, but the tooltip was gone.

Sure it wasn't Howl? I know that's had some goofy issues in the past. Such as nuking creeps when used with Scarab's Nightmare.

Valiant Stand talent from Tactician gets overwritten by the Talisman of the Sun buff, even when it's weaker.

Howl+nightmare is supposed to do that. And yes at first I thought it could be Howl, but at least 3 of the times mass regen failed on me I am sure the puppy never cast dire howl.

At some point I will watch the replay to be sure.

edit: Yep it is Lunge.

NNNOOOOO, that's one of the better combos too. Seriously, that item is probably the best in the game for her, easily. Definitely my first choice.

Or with Mana Rush.

I think combo stuff like GeneralFunk said would be best for situations like this.

EDIT: Mana Rush and Rapid Healing are overwriting each other. I presume this has to do with the talent that makes Mana Rush heal.
