Yet another talent balance thread

Starting with everyones favorite most talented hero AM:

Replace all innate talents with:

Gain control of skellis for 15.

Increase trigger chance by 5% for 7/9/11/13. Will propably turn out to be too imba with 40% revive chance, so maybe just 2 level and a bit higher cost .

Increase skeletons hp and damage for 18. Model change included, maybe movespeed if the normal ones have no chance every to keep up with a hero, but should stay under hero movement speed.

Feel free to add your own talent balance stuff.

Fenris's dire howl talent is terrible and useless and ridiculously so for the price. I've mentioned this before but at least its written here now.

The Tempest talent on Aero is ridiculously easy to level and increases damage vs. heroes by 50%. I would at least look into how strong it is relative to other talents.

Incarnate's order-attack on Gravebind isn't that great either, especially with such a low percentage.

Swashy's sheep talent seems useless for the price.

The damage share talent for AA with her fam (soul bind?) is fairly expensive for how good it is. Even if it was just straight unconditional 21% damage reduction without it even transferring it might still be worth it to just sell the crystal and spend it on items that do that better.

Oh and for all pick mode, im not sure if the BP talent for the bonus fire damage works for the equivilent units of other races but something like that would be nice. (I think its called Fervor)

Harps evasion talent should be turned into a single large one. 1% looks and feels like nothing. Compared with healing fountain fortresses, the cost should be no more than 25 crystal for 5%.

Uh, you may want to check that again. I remember it being totally out of control. And too, try using Remorse first, I seem to remember something about them having a greater chance while under that effect.

In any event, this skill is very solid imo.

Agreed, unless you can manage to rack up crystal, then meh.

My talent complaints (too expensive):

TC's Phase

GT's freeze shards

Bane's Dragonfear

Gravel's SOTM? (heath increase)

SB's Soul Shock? (either too expensive or too low of %)

Hmmm, that's it for now, maybe more later.

I disagree about the SB, Soul Strike's usefulness is increased infinitely with that talent, it's basically manditory if you want to actually get the kill and not just weaken. That being said, I don't know how much it costs; it's been a while.

Aero's talent mentioned above, the one for extra hero damage, is broken. At the first level it worked, with -s telling me 10 damage, doing 8 per wave, and then 12 per wave with the talent fully upgraded. The screenshot is of the same game, with the talent fully upgraded.

Image

It says 24, it's doing 27, it should be doing 36ish. Maybe it only works on the level you upgrade it on? *shrug*

Easier answer: Heroes take 75% damage from aoe spells. The number listed is for units.

Yeah I've measured it and never found it off (I knew about 75% aoe though)
