Eve of the Apocalypse: Twilight

Wanted to get people's thoughts on the spell.

Especially since you can't dispel, and it heals when you cast on LVL 1 and 2.

Incarnation completely nullifies it though.

I like it.

But as nobody except me seems to use it in the games I'm in, I cant really say anything about balance.

Sometimes I feel its rather useless on levels 1-4 though.

Rend Soul is a fantastic way of not getting owned by Abberation .

Any other thoughts?

I'm planning to add an item to instant nuke a unit (probably infinite use, just cd/mana), because there's just enough spells where nuking a single big unit is important

Edit - Note just to clarify, it may not be an instant kill, just something like 1500 damage which almost no normal unit will survive.

That's cool and would definitely be great vs. Abb.

Note that I am not leaning too far one way or another at this point, I am just wanting to hear what other people have to think. My judgement is not always that great -.- so I just wanted to hear everyone else's thoughts on the spell.

I don't think it's overpowered. It is very strong, I'll agree. And too, it really doesn't kick ass until rank 6 with the bonus armor AoE, and by that level most heroes are powerful enough to counter it anyway. Bloat is plain scary, that maybe could be nerfed, or I guess a slight nerf to abberation wouldn't hurt, thinking about it more...

A few heroes off the top of my head to counter it though...

TC's Ebb wrecks abberated units. And as its already been pointed out, Lich's Rend Soul, though I don't think you'd want to sit around and nuke buffed units like that all day, I know I wouldn't.

On a side note, I wouldn't mind seeing Terra get a buff, it's rather weak. Buff Terra and nerf Abber, sounds good imo. Just my 2 cents.

Terra is actually really good against buildings, especially if you stack str, and its slow to pretty nasty for the low cooldown the spell has. Abb is pretty sick when used properly. Had considered using it on player owned units then massing them up for a sneak attack on a base. Dying by towers with bloat = dead tower.
