Lich is a pretty imba hero. And I finally figured out what her "undead domination" did I usually don't bother with ultimate terribly often but this time I had an army of banshees running around me

This, combined with Rend Soul and stun talent makes for some deadly DPS. Warriors Rings are ridiculously powerful on her, and due to her high HP gain, heals, stun, and several "goodies" in ult, she? becomes the tank-caster from hell. I easily acquired around 3k hit points by level forty. Putting crystal into Str and attack.

Why not a her? or he? For some strange reason, I have always thought of Lich as a her...

Because elementals don't have genders. The same goes for Plight, although you could argue many statutes do have genitalia, so it would be a he or she depending...

There are some elementals such as in Warcraft that act like they have genders so you could say they have pseudo-genders but they really don't.

You mentioned getting warrior rings on lich nemesis. Were you kidding? I don't get why you'd get those on a hero that does all its dmge from nuke. The base dmge isn't too great and the "stop death" is really just a bonus 400 hp or so. Why not get int rings instead?

Don't worry, its NOT my standard build, just some of my crazy experiments. Still, with Lich's ult and altars, it really isn't that bad of and idea for certain instances. It is rather funny running around with 3k hits points, yet being in a caster class Too, Lich has one (the highest?) of the highest str gain of any int hero. Like I said, just some crazy experimentation.

It's straight out Agil/crit/attack dmg for me most of the time. Usually forgo the classic int build. Put points into Gravebind and Remorse, rest into Rend Soul. Ult I save for later lvls, altars don't bother. The Gravebind talent is also a must.

I've never done melee at all with lich. Seems like a waste, purposefully ignoring his strengths.

Waste? How so? Two of his abilities are direct dmg-based. And even without added int, Rend and altars are still very formidable.

I have to say, I don't think alters should heal both creeps and heroes. If you pair 1 or more heroes with a pushing alter lich, it's impossible to stop a push, even if you kill the alter shortly after it's summoned, every time. It's doubly difficult for melee heroes.

I believe expunge from DS insta-gibs them, I know it does frost spires which is a useful trick.
