So, without further ado...

Nephilum (current), if blood and ultimate are in the build. Indefinite use of his AoE ultimate, which actually hurts towers.

You forgot Colossus, he gets two moves that can wreck towers, is tanky, and is great at whacking a tower with his innate boosted attack.

You should seriously put every hero in the poll, in the Rue thread I just named the first few I could think of :P

I included as many heroes as the poll would allow.

Top 3 now.

Ok, fair enough...

My votes went to Emberwraith, Rue, and BP (not in order), with Bane very close behind.

This poll is stupid because Acarab is propably far better with a large push, while Icespinner can deal far more damage on his own when the enemy is distracted, etc.

AM is only a good siege hero because of haunt, and even more so when the base only has 2 towers, while smokecloud can nearly shutdown 3 towers and ranged units. But I think the Smokecloud days of Inf are over and since nobody saw it in action for months, it is greatly underrated and thus may not appear mentioned in the poll. *goes to vote*

And BP with FotD is overrated. :P

You just say that because its not like 1.08 Dek.

Its more then that, FotD isn't ass good but Innerfire + talented innate owns shit up.

Where the hell are the ascendant votes on that note?

And wait, who's voting for DW? None of his spells hit buildings.

Abberating Skele Warriors and having then tank the towers is really powerful while you drop Hells furry on them x_X

Just to elaborate on what Yak was getting at.

It's also relevant whether we're talking about sieging (along with spawns), backdooring (hero is alone or with other heroes/summons), 'strikes' (quick in and out to deal a lot of damage, inf's ult counts as this) or some other form of base destruction.

I was just reminiscing Yak, DW can't do much in the way of sieges now besides gibbing all the spawns with his AoE ^-^.And yes hells fury is amazing, I just think heaven's is prettier

If Smokecloud still has 90% miss chance, Inf wins every siege contest anyway.

With 3 towers and ranged units basically disabled, explosives to quickly dispatch spawns and even teleporting heroes and dealing damage to towers and preventing repairs without a detecting hero AND Sabotage to finish towers.

As ~450 damage for Explosives is enough, you should have some free slots for defense / attack items to deal damage to towers yourself more quickly.

I should try that out next game, but AoO is just sooo nice with its large red numbers. >_>

Taking those infiltrator traits into perspective. Arcane Archer can sweep forces, even with reduction on the talent, can still at least three shot towers, if we're talking about Stormwail or Kedges, you can ice wall behind their base blocking incoming reinforcements, meteor requires you only be in range of one tower being like smoke cloud in being hit less, and you can haste units.

Colossus gets Rock Slide that can still get up to one shotting spawns along with chunking towers, Heart of the Mountain still gets pretty decent reduction along with attack damage bonus, and with talents can boost army max life, and has heal lapping, playing less of a role as smoke cloud but offers damage output of Colossus and units. He has his innate which boosts his damage and range which makes him great for beating on towers. Then he has his ultimate on top of it which actually rips up towers pretty well.

And well Nephilum due to his no cooldowns, and having blood + ultimate in his build, he can do the heat seeing fire over and over and over and over and over and over, which can trash units and towers while having to be in range of being damaged as a very minimum (which means hit less, like smoke cloud).

Two people actually voted for dw, not just talking about the old days. I want to know who these people are.

I voted for him, Rue and Time Cleric to spite this thread. However to be fair, late game the DW can generally wipe out a spawn wave with his nuke, which makes sieging easy.
