This topic has at last convinced me this is no place for me. When people aren't playing EotA and bragging about sex on a forum 5 people read, things have gone downhill. I haven't looked at this in a month and nothing's changed.

This is sad. I'm sorry to have seen what was once a cool vibrant community fall apart into this. But at the same time- its' freakin' Warcraft, and it's been like this since we lost Salt and Thid.

Actually I still play EotA, but mostly out of being a "good citizen." I don't really find it too thrilling, since Yak's changes seem... Unprogressive.

Please degrade the man that devotes his personal time to making a map for you more. I'm sure that'll change his ways.

I don't know how to spell the french one, so I'll stick with goodbye. I personally would be on more, but I can't find the base disc to load onto my computer. I miss EotA, and a few other wc3 maps. Maybe that's why I've been so bored recently...

No. The fact about EotA I like most is how it's stayed true to what it was originally.

    A solid version of 1.11 would be nice. 1.10 is currently the most solid/complete version, everything after has been a Vista release. 1.10, Obelisks on Gloomreap, yay! No Candleburg, yay! Overpowered Gravel, boo! Overpowered Soul Binder (even though I've never seen a player be overpowered with him, just knowing is bothersome), boo! 1.11, new race, yay! Rebalanced Soul Binder, yay! Rebalanced Gravel, yay! Lag issues, boo! Candleburg, boo! No upgrades, boo! Gloomreap interesting change but the system for it is too randomish, boo!

    That's just how I see it. Or should I be dishonest like the rest of you, and say "the new Gloomreap is better," "Candleburg is awesome." Then why is it every game with EotA clan members I've been in, was always Stormwail, and I've even seen some say "pick Stormwail"? Excluding EotA clan members, just games period that involve regulars, I see just about only Stormwail. I detest Candleburg, but yet I pick "I don't care."

I don't recall ever saying the new Gloomreap or Candleburg beats Stormwail, the reason people do like to play Stormwail more than the other maps is probably because it's the most solid. 5 lanes, no crazy creeps, and you can move around without being creepblocked (Candleburg, it's great for smaller games though)

Should I mention that Stormwail was picked less in 1.10?
