You 'derailed' your own thread by seriously responding to what was most likely a sarcastic post. And in also responding to my post, you've actually done more damage than I have!
And I'm not sure why you think letting anyone buy a gun is necessarily a great credit to america.

If you want some weapons in Germany, you just need to become a competitive marksman.
Try looking up your facts as thoroughly as everyone else here in the thread next time.

Would this include black market dealing? Vrs. Having the right to own them in the first place?
And considering my
facts came from a native of your country, I'd say they're pretty damn accurate, or did you not read what I posted?

Well since his facts come from him LIVING in HIS country, I would say that he knows what he is talking about.

He never denied not being able to have a gun though. So I have to assume I am correct and he doesn't want to admit it or he doesn't care and is remaining silent.
So I ask Dekar: Are you allowed to own a gun or not?

Hey, man, stop picking on Germany, please. They have Nazi guilt. That's like White guilt, only waaay worse. So please, pick on another country, not the crippled one.

America carries no major guilt.
And I'm not picking on anyone, merely asking a simple question, which he still has failed to answer, oddly enough.

Probably because some people don't refresh the forums every two minutes wanting to talk to your ignorant self.

Btw DarkNemesis is actually fun to me.
I did some stuff for retard children, so I'm probably not objective, though.

You absolute fucking moron.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_Politics_in_Germany
Here you are you dumb lazy fucking waste of space.
A firearms ownership license (Waffenbesitzkarte) must be obtained before a weapon can be purchased. Owners of multiple firearms need separate ownership licenses for every single firearm they own. It entitles owners to purchase firearms and handle them on their own property and any private property with property owner consent. On public premises, a licensed firearm must be transported unloaded and in a stable, fully enclosing, locked container. A weapons ownership license does not entitle the owner to shoot the weapon or carry it on public premises without the prescribed container. Firearms ownership licenses are valid three years or less, and owners must obtain mandatory insurance and a means to securely store the weapon on their premises (a weapons locker.) Blanket ownership licenses are sometimes issued to arms dealers.
A number of criteria must be met before a firearms ownership license is issued:
- age of consent (18 years for rimfire calibers/21 years for higher calibers) (§ 4 WaffG)
trustworthiness (§ 5 WaffG)
personal adequacy (§ 6 WaffG)
expert knowledge (§ 7 WaffG) and
necessity (§ 8 WaffG) (Necessity is automatically assumed present for licensed hunters and owners of a carry permits (Waffenschein)).
Persons who are
convicted felons
have a record of mental disorder or
are deemed unreliable (which includes people with drug or alcohol addiction histories and known violent or aggressive persons)
Ten seconds is all it took to go find the info yourself.

Im sorry I'm no expert on weapon regulations in Germany, but we dont have to fear getting mugged when turning a corner and the police actually does it job instead of beating helpless people to death, so I'm not exactly interested in ever getting a weapon.

You are aware that Wiki has the propensity to be inaccurate and/or outdated?

So now we are relying upon the police to save our own lives?
No thanks, I'll save my own life.

I don't even know what to say to you at this point. Of course wiki is not the banner of accuracy on the internet. However, even though you're too much of a dumb fuck to probably even bother to check, if you look at each wiki page (quality of writing, sources, etc.) you can generally gouge yourself how reasonably accurate it is.
It took me again 4s to figure this out. The firearms ownership license and carry permits sections, the ones I put up here come directly from a site in North-Rhine Westphalia (
http://www.polizei-nrw.de/moenchengladb ... echts.html). The other parts of this article cite Bernard Harcourt, a Professor of Law and Political Science at the University of Chicago. If you really care about refuting these gun laws, go fucking buy one of his books (
http://bernardharcourt.com/).
Also, no one cares if you have a German friend "who's truthful" and "wouldn't lie" blah blah. That doesn't at all help your argument. Maybe you should take pressure off your propensity for being a fucking retard and try and do something useful on these forums.
But you won't.

Uhm, as studys have shown wikipedia is quit reliable and very fast in error correction.
We are even allowed to use it as source in our term paper now. And our school isnt as laissez-faire as american one.

Oh, that means you also dont trust medical facilities and treat everything yourself. Because you are strong.
This point I can understand. When people die inside a hospital after waiting over 24 hours without taking any care of you, I would lose my trust as well.
Fuck you health insurance, I AM STRONG!
