Between you and jamn, you're the only one I've seen doing any 'flaming', dark. I would consider my posts more carefully in the future, as I have already mentioned to you.

Your also an asshole who flames people, attacks others for so called "reviving" old posts (Cokemonkey) then goes and does the very thing you attacked them for. Thus far, I can think of no rules I have broken.

Well now I know I'm not going to read anything by Ayn Rand, And I have only read the first in the half-blood series by Mercedes Lacey and I agree that it was kinda.... Unimpressive.

Also, it sounded like Rand argued for her views way badly Reminded me of Nietzsche in his work "The Gay Science" who said, something like, the best way to hurt a cause is to argue for it badly. (too lazy to look up the exact quote)

I was kinda thinking that the elves need a hippie professor type character, ya know one like, Hey monsters are people too and they have as much right to exists as us! Lets get along with our fellow creatures, and like, OK so everyone is trying to kill each other over a portal necessary for survival, but man we can at least save two of every species so we can make sure they all survive when we move to the new crib. Oh and don't eat meat and people with different "preference" aren't doing anything wrong. (OK so what if he is gay or has a thing for Furblogs?)

And I guess the opposite of a hippie professor would be like, Every monster we kill today is one less dead innocent tomorrow. Or something like that.

Hope I'm not crossing the line into specific politics here... I bet that's a line... ya know that we shouldn't cross...

In EotA, we cross lines, then we say ah fuck it and we step back behind and cross that line again.

We are just awesome like that.

Not to stray too far from the point, but you sound strangely familiar with the ideals of the Elves in the Inheritance Cycle. Where they consider plants, cows, and mindless killing brutes to be just as valued as say...a human being. Really weird, radical shit. Though I don't know if the author (Christopher Paolini) holds the same ideals. I wouldn't be surprised. As far his policies seem to go, his views are almost opposite of Rand's. (I haven't read Atlas Shrugged, but have heard about it and her, if you excuse the term, "conservative" views).

I haven't read Atlas Shrugged, but have heard about it and her, if you excuse the term, "conservative" views.
Conservative is a terrible word to describe Ayn Rand's views. She was a laissez-faire capitalist who had her own subset of quasi-philosophical/economic/political bull that she called "objectivism". She was also narcissistic -.-

Look, some of her views could be argued as "conservative". Also, you'll notice I put "if you'll excuse the term," meaning there is a margin of error and shouldn't fully be taken literally.

She opposed Gays/Rights?Marriage what not, a Conservative view, for the most part anyway.
She ardently endorsed Capitalism (Good for her, Socialism has never worked) or a form of it: Laissez-faire. Again, this is something many Conservatives hold dear, while I honestly believe the Far Left supports Socialism, or similar ideals, over Capitalism, sadly enough.

Yes, she did denounce several prominent Conservatives, such as Ronald Regan, and she wasn't a Conservative, and I never said she was. Some of her views were 'Conservative', that much I'm sure we can agree upon. Also, when I refer to Conservative, I'm meaning a more generalized view, not necessarily political.

Hope this cleared the wind, Ion. :|

Notice how mine is 8 lines shorter, straight to the point and covers all the major points that you need to know about her, whereas you had to sit around justifying why you called her conservative to the point where you basically threw up what I said anyway. So this was a gigantic waste of space.
Also, for the third time- is your first language not English. I love your unintentionally hilarious metaphors (that would be comparatively less funny if you spoke another language).
