<FIXED> Lieges mortal strike attack against ethernal targets

Everyone knows the matyr can make targets slow n ethernal using Ion Surge.
So when Iplayed the sorrow liege n wanted to finish off my target mortal strike the matyr pops up n makes it ethernal.
All fine but now now the liege uses his mortal strike even the dmg number pops up but no actual dmg is done to the ethernal target. I noticed that on a few occasions.

Mortal strike should be redefined so it cant target ethernal targets .. otherwise it gets wasted in such cases.

AA for example can turn allys ethereal to make them evade physical skills, after your change the enemy would just automatically abort the attack, and can use it after etheral ends.

-> It adds a little bit of skill because you need watch out for it / use it at the right time.

Doesn't AM's ethereal protect units from magic attacks too?...couldn't remember...

No, thats the tricky part of it.

etheral basically means 'only magic can hurt this guy right now, and it does more than normal'

Mortal strike is physical + deathblow iirc and thus deals no damage to etheral targets and should not

Like dekar said, it requires more skill this way

Yeah. It's great to be AA and snipe heroes on your team with Banish. Not only is it broken and does it heal a ton, but it can save the life of your allies against people like Fenny and Harpy, and can cause serious mishaps for Harpy as she tries to swoop you.

As people have said, physical damage isn't suppose to damage ethereal targets. However, that a number comes out is a bug.
