Re: Site Move
It is a bit disconcerting at first (user info to the right of posts? wtfbbq?!), but you'll probably get used to it. With a bit of work and seeking help from other sources I could probably change some aspects of the skin, but there isn't much I can do beyond tweaking until other skins are available.Discombobulator wrote:This is by far the worst forum skin I've ever seen.
Of course, I could always go back to the backups and revert the forums to phpBB 2, if people really want that.

Also, I take back what I said about there only being one theme option: There's actually also the subSilver2 theme (it came with the package, but wasn't installed by default). Try it out and see if you find it more palatable.

I actually like this subsilver2, a lot better than the old purple.

You mean you like the skin, or you like your title color? (Methinks you had both on your mind at the same time. )Tehw00tz wrote:I actually like this subsilver2, a lot better than the old purple.

Re: Site Move
I've set subSilver2 as the default and switched everybody over to it. It turns out that there are styles for Olympus, they just haven't been validated and screened in the way that the phpBB 2 ones on phpBB.com have. There's a styles development and discussion forum, and Yak found a styles demo on another site.

Re: Site Move
By Lord Yak's decree, Hello Kitty is now our official mascot. If you see any other skins you like, let me know and I'll add them.

Hello Kitty?

I guess this is why DotA is more popular than EotA. Maybe we shouldn't have put Yak in charge of marketing.Pheonick wrote:Hello Kitty?

Take a look at the smilies on phpBB.com and let me know which pack

Why would you not love pie? You know its a sin not to. Pie > God. Even His commandments can't prove this is not true.

Re: Forum Skins/Styles
Well... I figured Yak had something to do with this, know I admit it is better then the old one (which was terrible), it is a bit too pink though, we need a new skin IMO

Re: Forum Skins/Styles
I'm loving the new theme.
Since being added, nothing but peace and love and happiness have been posted. No giant flames of demon or wootz. No endless bitching threads. No really stupid ideas.
Needless to say I'm going to need to change it back before the bliss ends so I can claim success.

You know Yak, there would be less flame wars if certain people didn't act like zealous fanboys. ^_^
Re: Forum Skins/Styles
The same could be said if people didnt act like blithering idiots, but thats nether here nor there.
