Ion Surge Vs IB

Ok, AM vs DH

he Ion Surges me, and I IB him, I can only run away (not attack him) but he can still attack me, even though were both etheral.

Dispel wands are your friend!
If I ever see that hero, I go directly for the wand the Ancient of Wonders sells.

What does that have to do with anything?

Im pointing out that Ionn Surge stops the etheral unit from attacking, but IB dosent stop him from attacking, sounds like a bug to me? GJ w00tz

It turns the Martyr's attack into a spell... Not a bug.

You can dispel his ethrael move, last I checked you can't dispel Infernal Binding >>

Its a feature not a bug

I dont think its a bug, i bet Jak though about this while adding this hero.
So he did it on purpose, i mean this thread offendend Jaks thinking skills

Ok seriously, i think its ok like that caus his skill allow you to attack ethereal units.

Has IB become non-dispellable in 1.11? I remember being able to use expire rank 1 to dispell all ranks of IB

Actually, this is NOT intended, and is a bit strange to me. While you can obviously cast spells whlie banished, last I checked even magic attacks were disabled while banished (tauren spirit walker is the prime example that springs to mind).

I dont know if its worht the effort to fix overall, but this is odd.

IB should be dispellable like always. The damage will still happen, but not for as much.
