Please help me (Computer problems)
Ok, I'm plaiyng Warcraft III last night and my computer froze, I thought "Oh well" and just reset it and got back on War3. Three or four games later my computer freezes again, I try to reset it, it stays at the screen that says the motherboard's name (Syntax) and at the bottom it says
Press TAB to show post screen, DEL to enter setup
When I press TAB it brings me to a screen that lists all my CD drives and my floppy drive and then says something about S.M.A.R.T hard drive fail, immediate backup~
And after that it goes to a screen that lists all my PCI devices, their bus numbers, device numbers, function numbers, vendor/device, class, device class. At the bottom of that it says
Verifiying DMI Pool Data.....
Boot from CD :
Boot from CD :
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
I don't have my Windows XP disk, haven't seen it in a while.
So my question to everyone out there willing to help me is, is there a way to fix this? Will I need a new hard drive/motherboard/computer?
Thank you for your help.

SMART is afaik a system to detect hard drive failure -> You will need a new HD.
The immediate backup tries to minimize data lose then. The longer you use your HD the more corrupt your files will become.
Save your files as soon as possible somewhere else.

OT: I like your new sig, where is it from?

Loud noises in combination with HD problems arent a good sign.
Just hope the reader header didnt crash on the HD disk.
Well, in terms of heat, modern graphics card go to 70+°C.
My DVDs are getting really hot too, because my DVD drive is in the top slot where i have no holes/fans in my case.
Unless you know it isnt so hot normally I wouldn't care that much about it, but i have no idea how hot HDs become.

Can something like this happen to my computer so i can finally get a new one , lol.
Atleast all that happens to my computer is that the monitor is a few months until its shot, the fans burn out every 3 month, and the fact that it is really fucking old.

Um.. Ok.. I bought a new hard drive (SATA) and when I start up my computer it does the same it did with my old hard drive. So is it faulty wiring, motherboard, or did I get another faulty hard drive?
EDIT: The SATA isn't broken, the install disc isn't picking up on the directory to install the driver thus leaving it useless. Still no idea how to fix that

Then your best luck would be to go to http://www.ibuypower.com and get a built pc for good money. One of the best sites if you dont want to piece it all together yourself.
