What do you think of Sirius?
What is your favorite program?
I personally prefer XM for having Opie and Anthony. But this isn't about that is it?!

Re: Sirius OffTopic Discussion
i don't believe that there is a viable long-term market for satellite radio, even for one remaining company with no competitors in it's direct market. it indirectly competes with free radio, and CD's that are filled with illegally downloaded free music. They don't offer enough to compete with a free substitute.
additionally, the XM/Sirius business model doesn't make sense to me because they've been officially merged for over a year, but they're not allowed to standardize their receivers. they state that their old receivers will never need to be replaced / become obsolete... it would make more sense to combine Sirius and XM's technical specifications into one new platform. i feel like their merger is a case study of how not to do a merger.
