Sorry for posting another one this early, but I got on a creativity spree and could not let it slip away


Hero
Name:Phoebia
Hero Class: Overlord
Background: Taking the form of a deformed spider Phoebia is a cruel sight, but not as cruel as her profession.
The demon has been tasked to take care of the slaves and to induce loyalty, meaning torture by "taking
care" and fear by "loyalty". She is a very sadistic and destructive demon and thus the best one for this
job.

Model Suggestion: Crypt Fiend, probably with a more demonic appearance

Attribute Suggestions: Strength : 15 + 1.4 per Level
Agility : 23 + 2.3 per Level (Primary)
Intelligence: 18 + 2 per Level

Base Attack : 43 - 49
Base Attack Speed: 1.20
Base Armor : 7
Base MS : 330
Attack Range : 400
Projectile : I'd suggest something acidic or poisonous like the chimera breath or teh
more subtle snapdragon missile

Faction: Fel Horde

Skills

Innate: Either Order Attack, since it would be fitting for an Overlord

or

Whiplash
Phoebia takes control of target allied unit, or computer controlled allied hero for a set duration

Type: Physical; Target Unit
Cooldown: 45 seconds
Mana Cost: 40
Duration: 20 on common , 10 on heroes
Cast Range: 700

First Skill: Torture
Phoebia tortures her target trough means of magic; the effect depends on the targets constitution.

More actual Health than Mana:

more than 90 % Health : Deals 60 + 0.7 * Int / 100 + Int / 140 + 1.3 * Int /180 + 1.6 * Int / 220 + 1.9 * Int /
260 + 2.2 * Int damage, after 5 seconds, deals the same damage again.

more than 50 % Health : Deals 60 + 0.7 * Int / 100 + Int / 140 + 1.3 * Int / 180 + 1.6 * Int / 220 + 1.9 * Int
/ 260 + 2.2 * Int damage and reduces attack speed by 10 % / 15 % / 20 % /
25 % / 30 % / 35 % for 20 seconds.

more than 10 % Health : Deals Damage equal to 50 % / 60 % / 70 % / 80 % / 90 % / 100 % of targets
remaining mana.

less than 10% Health : Reduces the Movementspeed of the target by 20 % / 25 % / 30 % / 35 % / 40 %
/ 45 % for 20 seconds

More actual Mana than Health:

more than 90 % mana : Steals 50 + 0.6 * Int / 80 + 0.8 * Int / 110 + Int /140 + 1.2 * Int / 170 + 1.4 * Int /
200 + 1.6 * Int mana from the target.

more than 15 % mana : Drains 35 + 0.4 * Int / 50 + 0.5 * Int / 65 + 0.6 * Int / 80 + 0.7 * Int / 95 + 0.8 * Int
110 + 0.9 * Int mana from the target. The target is unable to cast spells for 10
seconds.

less than 15 % mana : Drains all the targets remaining mana, healing Phoebia for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6
points for every mana points destroyed this way

Second Skill: Dread
Phoebia inflicts terror on the battlefield, affecting both, hostile and allied units.
While nearby hostile units are stunned, allied units are struck by fear and adrenaline fleeing from
phoebia and eventually perishing if the effect wears off. Phoebias sadistic spirit however is delighted
by this increasing her morale greatly.

Attack Speed Bonus per allied unit affected: 2 % / 3 % / 4 % / 5 % / 6 % / 7 %
Movement Speed Bonus per allied unit affected : 1 % / 2 % / 3 % / 5 % / 6 %
Bonus Duration: 25 seconds
Stun duration on hostile units : 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 seconds on common ; 0.5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5
/3 on heroes
Type: Enchantment ; Instant, Buff, Debuff
Distance travelled by units under fear: 400
Chance of Death after expiration: 75 %
Cooldown: 60

Third Skill: Impaling Riposte
Phoebia thrusts spikes out of her carapace impaling hostile units aswell as giving her protection from
melee attacks during a period of time.

Initial Damage: 80 + 0.8 * agi / 120 + 1.1 * agi / 160 + 1.4 * agi / 200 + 1.7 * agi / 240 + 2.1 * agi /
280 + 2.4 * agi physical damage
Increased Armor: 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30
Chance to block melee attack: 30 % / 33 % / 36 % / 40 % / 45 % / 50 %
Damage dealt to attacker on block: 40 + 0.5 * Str / 55 + 0.6 * Str / 70 + 0.7 * Str / 95 + 0.8 * Str /
110 + 0.9* Str / 125 + Str
Type: Physical; Instant , Buff
Cooldown: 40 seconds
Mana Cost: 120 / 140 / 160 / 180 / 200 / 220
Duration: 20 seconds

Fourth Skill Drilling Spikes
In addition to her acidic spikes, Phoebia is able to produce even more powerful spikes that are
excessively jagged, to increase the pain they inflict. These spikes thresh trough armor and can stun the
target.

True Damage Conversion (Damage ignoring Damage Reduction): 10% / 18 % / 25 % / 31% / 39 % / 45 %
of damage converted to true damage
Stun Chance per Hit: 5 % / 8 % / 11 % / 13 % / 14 % / 15 % chance to stun the target
If target was a hero, he cannot be stunned by Drilling Spikes again for 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 / 10 seconds
Stun Duration: 3 seconds on common, 1 second on heroes
Type: Physical ; Attack Modifier
Cooldown : 0
Mana Cost: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20

Ultimate Either

Insomnia
Phoebia spawns a cocoon at target location , the cocoon increases health regeneration of nearby units
greatly. If a hostile unit attacks the cocoon it has a chance to fall asleep. After expiration or detsruction one
Spiderling horror is spawned for every unit that has fallen asleep while attacking the cocoon ( can apply
multiple times on heroes).

Chance to fall asleep on attack: 30 % / 40 % / 50 % / 60 % on common 10 % / 15 % / 20 % / 25 % on

Call of Destruction (This is definitely a tribute skill towards the Nuclear Bat)
Phoebia os charged with control of the enslaved races and so she found a proper way to cause maximum
destruction with only one slave. She calls a Nuclear Bat towards target location to bring destruction to her
enemies ... if he reaches the destination.

Bat Health: 400 / 450 / 500 / 550
Bat Armor: 2 / 4 / 6 / 8

Description: Phoebia gains experience and gold for allied units killed during Dread.

Poison Tip Upgrades: 4
Crystal Cost: 8 / 12 / 16 / 22
Skills affected: Impaling Riposte
Description: Units that suffer from the initial damage of Impaling Riposte are poisoned and suffer from
15 % movement and attack speed reduction for 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 seconds
Dreadful Appearance Upgrades: 3
Crystal Cost: 7 / 9 / 11
Skills affected: Dread
Description: Increases the Duration of the speed bonus by Dread by 5 / 10 / 15 seconds.

Arcanohage Upgrades: 3
Crystal Cost: 10 / 15 / 20
Skills affected: Drilling Spikes
Description: The damage of Drilling spikes pierces through magical barriers, dealing 15 % / 30 % / 45 % damage to the target , while the rest is applied to the magical barrier as normal.

I'd suggest a third, better, less game changing innate.

I've done something just like call of destruction before, so my preference goes to Insomnia for the ult.

Overall very nice.

Hmm, this could be one hell of a Pk'er if built right.

Another fine concept, even better than the previous one. And don't apologize, if it's great, its great! :D :wink:

You spelled "trash" wrong, I think, said "tresh" instead. Under the Drilling Spikes ability. :)

Insomnia is hellish awesome.

What do you mean by 'nuclear bat'?

Can't wait to see this hero in EotA.

Just a quick question, why Fel Orcs? Spiders seem to go with the Creeps, right?

Don't pick at others spelling when you hate it being done to yours. Also Nuclear bat is a reference to EotA: Exodus.
I'll try and post a review when its not so late.

Well, basically she is not a spider, she is a demon that took corporeal presence as a fiendish deformed spider and that horrifying appearance is fitting her cruel and evil spirit quite well.

Yes, she would be a pain if you would have to oppose her on a lane , especially since she is a tankbuster, but she has not much native hitpoints on the downside.

Also added a new talent suggestion ,to make her effective against magical barriers.
