EotA for Heroes of Newerth?
Heroes of Newerth is an upcoming "dota clone", made on the engine for Savage 2. It looks nice and has a lot of good features... the savage 2 engine (k2) has a map editor and scripting support. Curious if you've any inclination to port your work to a friendlier engine. PM me if you (Yak) are interested in a beta key.

Looks exactly like wc3. I'm interested in checking it out though.

It does look just like WC3. Wonder if they'll get hit with a lawsuit for copying .

Only way better. It does look just like WC3.
Now if only EotA could look like that...

no offense to that game since it's a youtube movie, but eota looks a LOT better than that.

I dunno, the graphics, gamestyle, overall appearence seemed pretty convincing to me.
Just my 2 cents.

donno if anyone reads this between 1:41 am and the next 10 hours, but if you fan Heroes of Newerth on facebook they're giving every fan a beta key. i've been in beta for a bit, its not that great, not as fun as DotA and League of Legends is > but yeah, if you happen to read this and want a key try fanning them.

Re: EotA for Heroes of Newerth?
Question is, will HoN or LoL have a similar type of scenario / map editing function that would even allow for an Eota port?

Someone made a dota port, and it's not 10 years old, so I'd imagine it has a better editor.

What i'm trying to get across is that HoN is just that -- a dota port. It may not have any map editor
Edit: Only example I can think of that's already released is Demigod. It's dota-port, but has no customization options thus far.

It's pretty terrible, too. Picked it up for $5 at a garage sale; some dancing around with the codes later, I discovered that it really isn't that great a game. It needs customization options and more heroes to be really great. Demigod. Pfeh. Stick to your Supreme Commander, there, Gas Powered Games -- AoS' are not for you.
