I don't know about any of you, but I am a fan of anime. I was just wondering if any one here watched anime and if so what your favorites are. Some of my favorites are Rah Xephon, Death Note, Gunslinger Girl and The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya. Feel free to discuss about any anime related topics.

Good wide site for anime

I tend to get pop-ups every hour or so when I click something though. Most shows(found maybe 3) are in complete whole forms and not butchered into pieces. Mostly subbed, found a couple with complete english series, and I'm done talking....typing.

Yes, I watch the mainstream ones, Bleach and Naruto (Shippuuden). I also watch Gundam 00, which is the best Gundam series so far.

    Shijo Saikyo no Deshi Kenichi (History's Strongest Deciple Kenichi), is an awesome show, it has a lot of funny parts, has some pretty cool action, and makes a lot of good points about martial arts. I hope the make a sequal to it. Probably my all time favorite anime. [50 episodes]

    Genshiken, is a good show if you're interested in Japanese culture as far as their nerdish community goes or humor in general. Episode 10 and 11 of Genshiken 2 are must see episodes, Americans in Japan... The Havok! [12 episodes for original] [3 OVA episodes after original] [12 episodes after OVA (Genshiken 2)] [27 episodes total]

And Fist of The North Star probably the worst anime, is a major root of anime. No Fist, then no Dragon.

    Dragon Ball Z is alright as a first anime. But when you watch a few episodes of an abridged version, then watch the English dub again, it's hard to draw a difference between the abridged and the English dub. English dubbing am very bad.

The worst thing you can do is watching animes on the german channel RTL2, because they not only have bad voice actors, but also extremly cut them to air them in their child programm ( and the cuts/edits are very bad ).

The worst example is propably Naruto, where they did not only removed every single drop of blood, but also evade words like death. They also removed corpses and other fun stuff. Now they air it after Pokemon.

Other animes like Dragonball and propably Inuyasha/One Piece among others ( Not very interested in it ) had the same fate.

Knowing and an anime and then watching it on TV really hurts.

Only animes I ever liked was Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing. Both sequels to them sucked and turned me off anime completely.

My addiction is One Piece, but I also keep up on Shippuden and Bleach. All time favorites would include Samurai Champloo (by the creator of Cowboy Beebop), Witch Hunter Robin, Death Note, and probably a few others I can't think of.

I've been using http://www.instantz.net for One Piece. It also has a wide selection of completed anime, and you can watch things like Bleach live from the site.

Isn't that the truth. The voice actors are always so horrible.
