Infiltrator's Mine

As we all know Infiltrator's Mines are friendly fire and can kill your own units. Would it be considered exploiting to use them intentionally to kill your own army to void the other team potential experience and gold growth? I've done it a bit, and have thought about doing it often, but at the same time I feel, "cheesy" to some extent.

Oh yeah? Well yeah at first glance I can see why would be. It's one of the only ways to deny your enemies valuable gold and experience, but there are far better ways. Because this is a strategical type of game, you can command troops. Let's say we have a situation where the enemy is building up a push; Your own creeps in a lane are just marching to their deaths and letting them build up more units. Recalling them back to base lets YOU build up strength while they rush in single, small groups rather than one concentrated push. And when they arrive to your towers and get ripped apart, you have an army of units on your hands -- and you can strike back with a vengeance. Tactician and Sorrow Liege can do it as well since they both have Order Attack as an innate, but Liege has one up on Tactician 'cause his Shadow Bastions double as command towers -- without the added abilities of Recall and Retreat of course that can be used anywhere, but it CAN teleport units and the Liege himself from anywhere on the map to the Bastion. I'm just saying, if you have the ability to deny your enemy any sort of advantage, do it!

Unless of course you are Infiltrator and you WANT them to group up so you can blow the entire wave away with a few well-placed Explosives

Well, killing your own troops is like a lesser version of killing your own outpost. I never believed that is a clever idea.

To counter troops killed by mines -> Switch lane, it doesnt need hero support anyway.

Well Candleburg, if you annihilate both forces they will just meet at the middle after that. And well, Candleburg is nothing more than farming heroes. -_-

But what if you use mines to destroy your own outpost at Candleburg? That way, the enemy will get 0 XP, forever!

That's a pretty good strat to screw heroes for the followup battles.
