I've only got to above 65, generally to 80 in 2v5 bots games, in pub games I normally don't see higher than 40.

Yes, have played him, enjoyed him quite a bit. Pre-fix to his cooldowns he was incredibly fun but incredibly OP, gonna play him some more now so I can give a more up-to-date review.

The lanes are pretty straightforward now so its hard to believe people could get lost anymore. My only thought is that the top left and bottom right corners look lonely now without their bases. Also talents work on gloomreap and stormwail

It does fix that in that it seems the left lane is a better lane for xp (perceived might not be the case) so once you grab the tear you might as well hop in that lane if you want to try and cap it quickly.

Actually it does work because I did it, and while its nice to hope for the best its an undeniable fact that there are people out there that derive pleasure from griefing and ruining the fun of others.

just some observations from the game I just played On capturing Fonts and Tower cores allotted 1st Font - Font of Tides (Right Lane) Had 50%-83% control when captured, awarded 1 tower core, Gained small spawn wave 2nd Font - Font of Tides again, Had 100% control the entire time, awarded 0 tower core...

War3 really is notorious for having poor death checks, I remember trying to code a number of abilities where it checked for dead units around a unit and half the time even if they were decaying corpses it wouldn't acknowledge them as dead yet.

It's disabled in single player but when you host the game through local area network it still works, if you don't want to use battle.net anyway.
