Re: A question of ettiquette
God I hate pub teams. Especially with people who think they're god's gift to EotA but can't push a lane, kill a single hero or defend a single base.

Divine Wizard: Focus & Implacability
I was just thinking perhaps the crystal cost is too high for the effect. Maybe I'm miss-understanding the dynamics of Focus, but if only things in the center of holy strike (which is already tiny to begin with) take extra damage, what is the point? You do an extra 75, 90 damage max to 1-3 things? Or...

Seems kind of annoying... if it spams everyone, or even if it's only above the heroes head.

Re: Make artefacts drop on death
Sorry Mian, I was just trying to understand because if I'm Swash I usually try to grab the fury orb, but if it breaks his innate then I don't want to get it.
Thank you for your guidance.

Re: Area Domination
I think the in game implementation would be a lot more intuitive than the explanation. Granted, help options could probably built in, right? Like clicking a help button for linking obs would ping any available obs to link, etc.

Re: Make artefacts drop on death
So then I'm to understand that Swashbuckler's default attack is like a customized bounce attack but instead of a bounce there is a chance of IAS?
Re: Any good?
I think it depends completely on the hero you're playing as. That said, I like blink stick on RK, INT hammer on any caster-creeper. I think the staff is kind of useful when you're a low HP evoc caster, the clone has saved my ass almost every time I've used it. I think the Dragon Heart's dragon effec...

Re: Make artefacts drop on death
This is stupid. Then everyone would only be PKs or Str tanks. There would be too great of an incentive to completely prevent any deaths, or to ONLY kill opponents as much as possible. People would concentrate on coordinating artifact ganks instead of pushes. This would take the fun and usefulness ou...

Re: A question of ettiquette
I pick less offensive heroes, or heroes I'm not experienced with and try to learn the dynamics of their skills. Basically I use noob pub games as practice. I don't hold back, but I don't withhold advice if they ask.

Re: A Report on the Status and Effectiveness of Generators
I think he's saying that to maintain the status quo, EVERYONE maxes crystal generators, less they fall behind the competition, so people aren't adventurous with their generator strategies lest they lose out on potential crystal. People using ONLY crystal generators, then, is not using them strategic...

Re: Area Domination
I've been pondering this too. Here is what I was thinking: Obelisk Capture- Obelisks are captured with rituals. The basic capture process would remain the same... unit goes, constructs for a time, and obelisk is captured by team. Obelisk Usage Options- At this point, player who captured obelisk gets...

No, as in Ion Surge and Polarize don't hit Gargoyle, most likely also harpy. The exception is when Garg has prey in his mouth, then he's vulnerable.

Re: Taunting Treant Wall
If the trees were permanent, then yes. Like I said, have 2 heroes rape treant, kill spawn waves, keep spawns before the new fortification, and command the besieged lane around the blockade.
Edit:
I don't think ob towers should be affected by tree taunts.

Re: Taunting Treant Wall
At the level this was at, 20,30 something? A typical nuker-caster should be able to drop an entire spawn wave in 2 hits... it's not like the treant is going to come back and wipe out your spawn wave with... ???? what skill???? Or pk you. Granted, rebirth would probably problematic, but still, had we...
