Re: 1.12c5 Bug Reports
Oddly enough, I had a different bug than Aegir Ravenking while playing Bane. As happened to him, mine would not hit at all without any talent points. Once I got one, however, it hit ALL units -- but no heroes. Not only that, but instead of stunning, as the spell says it does, the effected units bega...

Re: Idle Energy Experience
In looking at it, most of the people I've played EotA with don't even know that Generators exist. That basically means that nobody is using them, so it's just a matter of which side has more bonus XP. If the teams are fairly equal in who's going for Obelisks, or Gloomite, or what-have-you, then the ...

Re: Looking ahead - Upgrades
Lunargent, that's a pretty good idea. I always felt that the captains should be something a little more, uh, leader-y. Auras would do that, although I don't know that stealing a Sorrow Liege aura or two would be necessary. A simple +armor/+dmg/50% magic resist aura (For creeps only!) would be fine. ...

Yggdrasil's Entangling Treant (Which does hit and immobilize when the target is netted, interestingly enough.)

It also has 800 attack range vs 700 tower attack range. Ahhhh. . .now THAT is a reason to use it against towers. . . ^_^ Anywho, if there isn't going to be any changes to BP in c5, maybe upping the damage Backfire does a bit, across the board? Something to give him a bit more of a "fuck off&qu...

Re: Bitch thread
I'm pretty sure it still shoots at it, even if the spawns are distracting it. At least, that's been my experience with it. Will test it again, though, when EotA works again.

Re: Bitch thread
I doubt that, especially considering the tower WILL fire upon the Rotting Grove as it is building, making the thing start at little to no health.Dekar wrote:A little nerf of Eidolons ultimate's attack damage, just a personal opinion though. I think lvl 1 can level a tower on its own if left unattended.

So looking at the version you said would be out by May at best, and it's currently August. . .We can expect something sometime around January on?DarnYak wrote:I'm on it!

Re: Naga Imbalanced
The only real concern I have is that Yak is planning to totally scrap the dispell system and implement a rock-paper-scissors concept, much to the distaste of the forum members (myself included). Where'd he say that? Last I saw (last post of his in the thread in The Conclave) he was leaning towards ...

Re: EotA for Heroes of Newerth?
It's pretty terrible, too. Picked it up for $5 at a garage sale; some dancing around with the codes later, I discovered that it really isn't that great a game. It needs customization options and more heroes to be really great. Demigod. Pfeh. Stick to your Supreme Commander, there, Gas Powered Games ...

Gonna toss my vote in with the VIAO FW. As for everything else, I highly suggest getting something that doesn't have integrated graphics. QFT. Can't be said enough. QFT, QFT, QFT. . .Well, I suppose integrated would be okay for business, you're playing games here. Having a dedicated GPU would be nic...

Re: Split tower cores generation from maps
Well, if you're going to change all the maps anyway, I suppose it'd work. But AS IT IS, which I believe I said more than once, there would be a lot of problems. And if it could be balanced in one of '9000' ways and still keep the maps somewhat unique, beyond # of lanes, I'd love to hear one of the w...

Heck, it's not that I forgot to save my loading codes, it's that I forgot to bring them back with me when I came back from college. That one hit the trash. Oops. Also, 2nding the "Change the DW's dispel". The Fire Elemental isn't. . .all that great. I mean, I understand that the primary us...

Re: Split tower cores generation from maps
I dunno, I kinda agree with DarkNemesis here. I don't really see why maps should have it. Imagine Moontears on Stormwail or Gloomreap: First off, on Gloomreap, where would they spawn? There are two 'central' lanes. As for Stormwail, the central posts are already gold mine outposts, so they'd be some...

Re: Priority of changes
Uhm, can I copy-paste that list? Kidding aside, I'd say the most important to me, at the moment, would be a couple more heroes, getting Upgrades into the game, fixing replacing Candleburg, and maybe a bit of balance regarding level codes. I haven't played a game in awhile with anyone who was high en...

Wild Berry Skittles are meh. I just take enough of them that they taste like a small amount of regular skittles.
Green skittles suck, that I can agree with, but not the yellow ones.

I'm still trying to figure out where he went, and what for. I can't think of a single accredited college that'll send someone out, even after a year, without knowing anything about biology or supporting one's arguments. An undeclared major would be possible, I suppose, if most colleges I've heard of...

Re: Capture Mode?
Capture mode is when all outposts, other than the main base, are instead held by hostile creeps rather than any one side. You have to clear out the site before you can put a base on it.
