Clockwerk Goblins
Might've been a thread about these previously, and if so, my apologies. If there is, it's ridiculously old. Anyway: These things are ridiculous. I've been in a game with them recently, in which we all ended up running 'cause nothing else could be done. Let's take a look at this: -Heavy Armor: Their ...

Re: Balancing Additional Spawn Towers
Just willy nilly placing spawn towers can be disastrous. For example, if you get dragonhawks, they could put trickster in it, if you get priest, they could get shredder, and so on... Riiight, but placing one first gives an advantage, too: Your creeps'll push forward because of that particular unit ...

Re: Ballistae, Catapults, and Meat Wagons
I'm kinda curious to see how a Siege / elite archer build comes up outta this. They both do siege damage to towers, and elite archers do counter air units. . .Hrm. Well, first test these things out, then on we go from there.

Re: Mystic Swashbuckler
Virtually every escape method you've described have far longer cool downs than the Swashbuckler's Dash which would mean they'll work until they either stop holding or until his Dash refreshes. I know there isn't a complete imbalance for the fleeing but the Swashbuckler will win in almost every inst...

Re: Balancing Additional Spawn Towers
To have the ability to build spawn towers, you need to be doing something right elsewhere. That something right would be controlling more obelisks/gloomite/moontears than your opponent. To punish people for gaining and maintaining map control by reducing gold and/or XP income would, in my mind, be a...

Re: Things that go boom.
Okay. So if you only have one siege-damage unit, I could see it happening. +50 damage per cast is +50 damage per cast, regardless of whether the unit already has a +50 damage or a +100 damage on it. I hadn't heard that the attack speed modifier only applies once. If that's the case, then it's not d...

Re: Things that go boom.
The only reason to stack Abberation that I can see is to fully heal one of your abberations if it's low on health. . . .Have you seen what +150 siege damage on the Elite Archer mobs DOES to buildings? EDIT: Also, again, perhaps limiting the maximum stack to two instead of three, should removing sta...

Re: Things that go boom.
Personally, I'm okay with just removing its ability to stack. One stack doesn't really hurt, 3 does. Maybe see how a 2 stack max works out?

Sick. I try not to bother you too much about it, but every once in awhile it's nice to get that, "I *am* here, guys, and I know the map exists." kinda thing.

DarnYak made 1.2b. From there on out, someone else picked up the Exodus series. He's got Yak's permission to do that.

Re: Hero Suggestion: Blaze the Phoenix
Crash Down: The problem may be, that it deals more damage than Grand Rune and cannot be stopped. There is no risk in being in egg form when everything is dead. There is if your opponent saw this coming, and hit an Anti-magic potion. In fact, you're kinda really screwed then. As for your point about...

Re: Hero Suggestion: Blaze the Phoenix
Yeah, numbers aren't necessary, but having an idea of how stuff scales, and what stats are used is helpful, so we at least know that it does scale and isn't just a flat number.

Re: Hero Suggestion: Blaze the Phoenix
What kind of dmg / healing / what-have-you are we looking at? What stat modifies what spell? At the very least, tell us that.
And I think Feather Rush should be a target location, rather than straight forward.
Other than that, pretty good idea. I'd play it.

Re: So yeah
In order to get good starting jobs and avoid a lot of BS though you want to do well in college and go to one that's going to maximize early returns so you can get ahead in whatever specialty you enter. I'm majoring in Psyc and Poli Sci and neither is going to get me a (decent, relevant) job with a ...

I actually got quite a deal from them. But my home state's university was cheaper, for not much difference in curriculum. Not paying another ~$7,000 for a name, tyvm.Tehw00tz wrote:This goes for all colleges in Louisiana, including one of the top 50 colleges in the United Stats, Tulane University.
Re: So yeah
From what I've heard from quite a few people in the business world, your college performance really only matters in A) networking (already been covered) and B) for the first couple jobs. Beyond that, it's your recommendations and performance at previous jobs that get you hired. I don't really unders...

You mean their magical origin allows them to redirect magic directed at the Oracle to themself, protecting her in return? *gasp* I like this. That doesn't solve the issue of PK heroes, as they by-and-large do physical damage, though. Perhaps a talent that redirects 25/37/50% of the physical damage ...
