It doesnt scale correctly with levels.
Casting lvl 6 flare on a unit with 2.2k mana makes it loose ~60, instead of ~153 mana.
Either way it would still be pretty low for putting 6 points into flare...

The main reason i suggested this is the time factor, because beeing able to repair towers makes games much longer.
Lessening the confusion for new players comes as a bonus.

i know, but certain things should always be able to target them, because it would only be fair...
btw i dont think they can even be hit by all abilities while beeing netted, eg. not by grasping tree afaik

According to shadowplays post, i would suggest two modes: -The first one should disable the repair funktion, should maybe come along with a slight regeneration for the towers. This mechanic would shorten games by a significant amount. -The second would make spawn towers unavailable, what would take ...

A theoretical maximum amount of 4.8% of the mana lost for flare lvl 6 is too low to have any effect at all, especially @ 30 crystal.

lvl5 flar with brainboil caused a unit with 1800 mana to loose around 10-20 mana.
Its hard to tell the exact amount because of the mana regenration, which actually was faster than the mana loss.

They have natural advantage just because they can fly, (i remember that there was some topic about this) due to that i think it should be possible to hit them with all single target skills that can target enemy heros. Smite is a tricky thing, i tried once to keep it on lvl1 because it claims to take away 1/3 of the enemy hp.
Well it does do alot of damage at the first cast, but it uses huge amounts of mana because of the many extra dmaage points beyound the fix damage value.
